Should I get my VVG re-machined to an LP ?

I will be getting my vvg in a few days after Rob gave it a good once-over .

I am toying with the idea of sending it back to Rob to get make it a LP. I understand that this would dramaticaly increase the attys that would fit my vvg.

What I am not sure is what I would loose in the process. Is it only the catch cup volume ?

Yes you'll lose well depth, plus the top will be bare aluminum and not painted anymore if that matters. Since you need to run higher ohms for the VV I'm wondering why bother? What would the performance be of a big rba with higher ohms.

Yep - the bigger atties generally shine with dual (or more) coil setups, which would surely put your resistance under the limit.

Prolly best to get a fully mech LP to chase those.

And rob loves converting vvs as I am ripping out all the electronics I have a big old smile . You may ask why because rob doesn't have to worry about the mod anymore . Oh sorry I was thinking you wanted it converted to a mechanical . In time in time

I understand, the conversion to a mechanical and to an LP may be the way to go.....

Or keep my vvg, since Rob is so nice and will keep them in working order, (maybe while pinching his nose), and get a new LP grand on which I can use my new Magma BF from Catfish atty mods .

Can't wait to get my vvg back, *%#* slow canadian customs.....

edit: If someone could provide a link, I would love to see a photo of a VVG converted to mech.

I personally wouldn't. You'll get a much better vape from the RM2 or RM3 if you want to experiment with duel coils on a VV than the Magma, but it is an option if you don't want to get another Reo, but really want to use that Magma.

I have been hand dripping with the RM2 while waiting for purple to arrive.. This is my first dripping experience and I reallly love the volume, density and great taste of the vapor it produces. I am sure, when the RM2 will be on the vvg, it will be even better.

I will probably end up with a second Reo, LP grand.
