Bell caps are just replacement caps in case your plastic ones break or you want to change things up with different colors.

The "slam caps" that I just posted pics of are a bit different though. Notice how I took the cap off to expose my coil, but my juice is still in there. No filling tool needed, no need to fill from the bottom...just unscrew that cap and wallah, fill it like a Kanger Protank. Tradeoff is less capacity, but, it's so easy to fill now I don't even care.

Ah, that makes sense now, thanks. I'm going to be ordering some of the other kayfun accessories you posted about earlier in the thread... where'd you get that slam cap?

Thanks again, javyn... I'll pick up a couple of those with my next FT order.

I've now tried three other attys... the Aromamizer Supreme, Serpent Mini and a Kayfun Monster Mini clone, and have about decided that these big old EHPRO Kayfun Lite+ v2 atomizers are the right attys for me. The other attys are flavorful but harsh, even with the same coil, wicking, juice, airflow & power setting.

The Kayfuns, on the other hand, give me great flavor and a very smooth, very consistent vape. The bottom fill and fill screws are a pain, without grub screws they're a hassle to build on, their airflow is restricted and non-adjustable, they're big and clunky and low tech, but right is right, and I'm liking them more every day.

I'm going to order some wire next week and try those other attys with TC and if that doesn't even them out, I'm probably going to shelve or dump them and stick with the Kayfuns.

Thanks for all your help with these guys!

I feel ya cmayo. I was very late to the Kayfun game, for whatever reason always resisted getting one until pretty recently. They certainly live up to the hype IMO.

I actually prefer them being non-adjustable. Just my personal experience but adjustable airflow rings and whatnot just lead to leaks and muted flavor.

I found my mouth to lung vaping perfection drilling out the air hole on the base of my Kayfuns (or getting Monster bases), but using the stock Kayfun center pins making that the choke point on the air flow. They take to modification really well. With a drill, dremel and the right bits you can tailor it to how you like pretty easily.

I did the same thing to all my Kayfun Lite Plus V2 attys recently, drilling out the center post to 5/64. What a difference! They are right there with the best atomizers I own, and I own some high end ones like Erlkonigin, Mark Bugs, and Gus Phenomenon.

It's very, very easy to do and I am a complete klutz with power tools!
