Don't pester the small business man unless they're doing something dishonest or if they're Yankee fans. But, if you do, ... well....

Just sit close by with your huge plumes of vapor and a hoodie and glare at the employees. GLARE. -Magnus

lmao i doubt ill find a yankee fan in colorado but thanks for the mixed messages :D.. but i consider over priced 510's dishonest soooo....

you can try talking to them, but you wont change the prices at all, most likely hes just a retail employee thats working for a higher employer, prices will not lower. if its a rebranded 510 prob going to be an ok product to say the least but it will be overpriced that is for sure =/ it is not exactly dishonest unless they say they are a one of a kind product and they sell the best, which is evidently untrue. the employees will lie but thats bcuz they are told to and some and most are quite unqualified for selling ecigs.

Yeah, that guy in the kiosk is just tryin' to make enough scratch to pay the rent on his one bedroom efficiency and keep himself in Ramen.
It'd be much cooler to ask him if he's a vaper and if he is, turn him on to a better PV and this forum. Keep the energy positive.

This!!!

Do what I do.. ask them for some Dead atty's and batteries they are throwing away. Tell them you are new to vaping and want to use the connectors off of them to make mods.

I made a pass through like this that worked better than nothing when my batteries were charging. ( I used the connector off a dead battery they gave me)

They gave me a few atty's too.. took em home and cleaned em good and they all worked.. got me out of a jam when I needed a working atty... LOL YMMV

My mall knows exactly what they are doing. The don't care about better PV's or E-liquid because they will tell you they are not refillable. And the main point is they have a 90% profit margin, and for the people they sell them to come back for VERY over priced (prefilled cartomizers) My mall's cheapest kit is 1 small battery, 2 cartomizers and a PC charger with a case for the LOW (LOL) price of $99 Dollars. You all know what you can buy for 99 Dollars on the web. So these people are just trying to make BIG bucks from people, that don't know any better.

My pass through was simple. A usb cord off an old mouse or old lamp cord for direct wiring up to an ac adapter, a push button switch from an old radio circuit board ( any momentary push button switch can be used as long as it can handle 2 amps) and a connector off an old battery that fits your atty. Just break one leg of the switch and remember, positive from the power source goes on the center post of the battery connection and negative goes on the outside. ( well inside wall of the threaded outside part). You need a power of at least 4 to 5 volts and at least 2 amps or you wont get much vape. I found the computer usb wasn't good enough so I found an ac adapter and hard wired it. The lil charger adapters that come with many e-cig kits wont work cus they are only 500 miliamps ( 1/2 of an amp) There are many homemade pass through videos on youtube.

This passthrough doesn't charge a battery, just gives straight voltage to the atty.

Warning. getting the connector off the battery without tearing everything up is a royal PITA !

wouldn't hard wiring it str8 into ac, like using the amp cord, make it unregulated and give you way to much power? 115 volt vaping doesnt sound fun :) well kinda.... lol ya getting it off sounds like a pain

What.. never tried 115v vaping? .. man.. it's Da Bomb. it will get you Fried :headbang:

No silly.. you use an ac adapter.. that's why I said the ones that come with the kits were not good enough.. you need a 5 volt 2 amp adapter that you plug into the wall and connect the cord to that. The adapter acts as the regulator.

The mall guys PAY big $ for the space so that effects the consumer price , whether they are fair prices is up to them , online dealers have MUCH lower overhead costs and it is reflected in the prices.
So be it, but I don't like getting ripped off and that is what it is. You only need two customers a week, to pay the rent with the profit they are making.
