I only got into vaping because my friends who never smoked and only used 0mg let me try it, and I liked. Over the past year I've had an off and on feeling towards it, currently in a purge I guess. I sold almost everything but a few items. I guess I just found it again too expensive, and takes to much time. And I keep getting bummed out on flavors. I never did dripping cause I couldn't afford a good one. I even had an atlantis, but got angry and upset after a flavor was a total bust. Plus with the atlantis it kinda made me cough. I still have a few items and part of a Nautilus, and I don't know if I should continue. Part of me worries about any potential heath risk, other is annoyed at flavors not being good or having to clean or using tanks and getting subpar flavor. Another part says its fun to make clouds and sometimes it is tasty. I don't know what to do. If I should give up and sell it all and never go back, or get a replacement tank for my Nautilus, and continue, get a lemo drop and learn to build and continuing trying flavors. There are still some that sound good. I really just wanted to get that awesome flavor people keep boasting happens. What should I do?

Sell the stuff and never go back. This is the internet, people lie. That is why there is an endless quest for the next best thing. If the flavor was truly awesome then they would find themselves to be content and quit looking. It is the rare person who writes on this forum, "I've found Nirvana, I'm leaving the forum never to return. My quest is complete". I vape to avoid the pangs of nicotine withdrawal, sometimes the taste is good but at the core, I vape to avoid cigarettes and for no other reason.

What should I do?

I have to agree with the other responses you've got here already. Let it go. It's not doing anything positive for you and it could conceivably hurt you, so there is no gain and a possible risk.

You know what it's all about now so if you ever want to go back to it for any reason you have that.

Good luck with whatever you decide :)

yep, yep. i agree with almost everyone else. Sell it and don't look back. Why wouldn't you? You don't have the drive to get over the next hurdle, because you really don't NEED to. Nothing wrong with that.

I do disagree with the post about people lying about finding vape hapiness. I have found it MANY times, but that doesn't mean I won't continue trying to find a different version of it. Some people are just like that. Many of them are here. lol

I find it to be more satisfying than smoking, and more fun. I've already moved past wanting vaping to get better so I won't smoke. I still look for the next best thing for a better vape on it's own merits.

I'm with you. Even though I've dropped my nic concentration from 24 to 12 mg/ml since I started vaping (and will probably be dropping again in another month or so depending how I feel) I really, really do enjoy vaping. And truth be told, I haven't even thought about having a cigarette for months.

To the OP, just don't do it, as others have said. I started vaping to quit smoking. If you've never smoked, and you have a take it or leave it attitude towards vaping, there's really no reason to vape.

If it's not fun, don't do it .

for me it's a drug delivery system for nicotine.

This is the very language the FDA was trying to hang e-cigs with 3 years ago but lost. I urge any vapers not to use it.

I agree with everyone in the sense that not vaping is safer for a non-smoker than vaping, but as long as OP is an adult, ultimately they can do what they want. The more mainstream vaping becomes, the better we will fare when it comes to regulation and legislation. If a non vaper wants to enjoy a vape of some desert flavored juice after a meal rather than the actual desert itself, or wants to enjoy a cocktail flavored juice instead of the actual alcoholic beverage it tries to emulate, then chances are its a wash at worst over which is more or less healthy. That non-smoker is also most likely not going to be using their device all day, like us nicotine addicts do but rather mostly using it only in social situations.

To the OP, finding a favorite juice is a quest for us all (and a fun one) I've found a few over the years that I really enjoy and can use as an all day vape, but that doesn't keep me from wanting to try new flavors. If theres a B&M store in your area you can try juices for free. Try things that you don't think you'd like, you may be surprised. This to me is the greatest advantage B&M's bring. Before we had them you always had to risk hating the juice you bought and shipped. Also you don't need an expensive mech mod and RDA to enjoy a great vape. Pretty much all mech mods and rebuildables follow an extremely similar design and the affordable options often perform just as well (or better) than the high end stuff does.

totally up to you as to what you want to do. i talk to my kids about drug, smoking, and drinking all the time. they are 10 and 13. it's choice one makes, but rather bad choice to do any of them. vaping.. not too sure at this point. no one really knows. but it can't be good putting anything other than fresh air into your lung. but in the end, it's personal choice. no one can make you do one or the other.

But you might be able to teach us some things about what your friends are doing with vaping. How many of the young vapers you know are using nic and trying to quit smoking? Do you have friends who never smoked who vape with nicotine? Do any of them report withdrawal symptoms if they don't vape nic? There is a big fuss about what kids kids who never smoked might be doing with vaping but no specific information about what that might be. Do you know other never smokers who vaped and lost interest?

This has been my theory for a long time. The fad hits the younger generation, then they get bored and are able to just drop it. No harm, no foul. Best of all..... No Addiction. Nothing to battle down the road.

For me....and many others like me.....vaping is the only thing that has kept me from smoking. It's, for me, the nicotine replacement. If you never drank but all your friends did, would you then be asking us, "Should I drink...all my friends do." For me, the tobacco and alcohol monsters are always nearby trying to seduce me. If you don't drink.....why not keep it that way. If you don't smoke, why start vaping. Just the Cranky Old Mans view...but hey....I'm senile too!
