This time last year I tried vaping and bought a supermini starter kit from the electronic cigarette co.

I really didnt get on with it, I was constantly charging and refilling it, the carts would get stuck in the mouthpeice, the filling in the carts would fall out and burn on the vapouriser and i just couldnt get anything out of the dam thing.

Ive thought about trying it again and popped back here and noticed everybody talking about 501's......are they really a different world to my old super?

could somebody point me to a good video review and somewhere to buy one? also do they work differently to the supermini? what would I need?

Rule of Thumb: the more it looks like the real thing, the worse the performance.

The super mini's that Smoke Everywhere and Blu, etc sell are definitely at the bottom of the food chain. It's no wonder you didn't like it. People who take a puff once an hour can use one of these but beyond that, I understand your frustration.

Going with a manual PV such as the 510 is a good idea. Being able to control the warmth of the vapor makes the experience more like the real thing. The DSE901 now has manual batteries also. BUT, you will still have the problem of short battery life (about 2 hours). If that is not a problem, then I would suggest either of these and of course using liquid to re-fill your carts due to better taste, more variety and less cost.

If you want even less hassle and more throat hit, then you might want to consider the larger battery devices that give about 5-8 hours on one charge and the batteries reduce the initial cost due to costing $2 to replace. Here are some good suppliers for both types of devices:

It sounds like you really didn't follow what you were supposed to do with the mini. But if you want something that's better, manual, and loads of vapor with as much ease as you did with an analog then go for the 510. You won't be disappointed if you do your homework on how to fill the cart, drip, etc.

Oh and buy the PCC. You can carry it around like a pack of analogs that holds cartridges, extra atomizer, and charges your battery on the go so when your battery dies you swap and never have to worry about an uncharged battery.
