    Somewhere between here and there
I have been vaping for a straight week now. I have cut my analogs from about 30 a day to 8-10. I am using a 510 and really like it. I started with 18mg and got some 24mg a couple of days ago. I just can't seem to stop the analogs. Should I look for some 36mg? If so, can someone suggest a site. I seem to prefer the menthol, mint, expresso, and coffe flavors.

It is very hard to say, I use to have 30 40 a day of a black cigttes, i cut them to 10 or 15 until a day i went to 0 analogs, you may need 2 or 3 differents flavor a very strong nic in the morning and night and a very low or maibe 0 nic in the afternoon, just to see the vapor, and feel the pleasure to smoke watching Tv without going outside.

yes absolutely up your nic...............36mg killed cigs for me and I was 40=50 a day. Once your nic is right the analog's taste like balls. If you dont' like the 36 you can cut it. Nhaler and my freedomsmokes should hook u up and vape ape has some 36mg flavors. Make sure you have a flavor you like and vape like a madman..This is too easy to be struggling

I tell my friends that start on the e-cig to always start higher than you expect then cut down. The last thing you want to do is get your e-cig and find out a year later you're still on analogs, even if it is only 1 or 2 a day.

Most folks come here and research strengths then try to match the strength liquid to their current pack-per-day consumption. I think this should be a goal to set after you start, not before. Instead go higher than you expect then cut down, not the other way around. Upping your dose of nicotine can seem like a step in the wrong direction for some people and discourage them. Plus, you want to make sure your nicotine craving will be sated so that the only draw to the analog is the psychological one (the easiest part of switching to conquer).

I'm one of those "rare" people that started the e-cig and haven't had an analog since. Amazingly my family and friends who have picked up this product have also had the same results. I believe it's because they were "better safe than sorry" in their choice of nic juice from the start.

e-cigs aren't a guaranteed miracle because despite replacing the nicotine in an analog, there are confounding chemicals in analogs that give you the "fix". You're still going to have some mild withdrawal symptoms even after switching to e-cigs.

You don't have to up the mg, you could just vape more and achieve the same goal.

I suggest you stop buying analogs and vape until satisfied. If you keep buying the analogs you're going to be tempted to use them. Eliminate that option and adjust accordingly.

Althoug I agree in theory...............vaping until satisfied becomes a piece of cake with stronger nic............. and stronger nic can always be diluted later on. If your nic is strong enough you will receive no benefit from an analog and make it twice as easy(at least)

The hardest hump for me was getting over that morning smoke. I could vape all day but still felt I needed that smoke in the morning. What I did was tell myself I'd vape for that first hour after waking. If after an hour I still felt I had to have a cigarette I could then have one. After I realized that I could get through that one hour, it really wasn't that hard to just keep extending that by another hour etc..

I still cave in once in awhile and I light up a real ciggy. Usually after I have one or two drags I'm convinced that I really didn't want it to start with and I put it out. Higher nic at first helps. Give your body time to adjust, don't feel rushed. Forgive yourself when you slip and keep moving forward.

The people here are awesome. I think that it is great that the people here are willing to help once again. I think I might go ahead and order some 36mg and give that a try when I am having strong cravings. Who knows, maybe I just need something to get me over the hump and a little more time. Thanks to everyone for their input. I will watch this thread in case there are more posts.
