I'm noticing this to be the draw back of the Halo. So far I've noticed the 510's to be the thread of choice. I'm a noob though, I could be wrong.

It's a bit of a drawback, but not much. You can fit anything except eGo threading on the Halo with an adapter.

510 is the most common, but that doesn't necessarily make it the best. You'll find a LOT of substandard 510 parts. 808 parts tend to be of higher quality because there are fewer cheap Chinese copies of 808 threaded products.

Smokeless Image has a line of Aspire products that are 808 threaded and they have a spinner battery (variable voltage) that is actually of good quality. They have a Nautilus tank in 808.

I have the Aspire Maxi from them and have bought a lot from them. The Maxi only holds 1.5ml but I have not had one leak in weeks and the coils are dual coil and replaceable if you want to keep the 808.

The T3 minis there are nice too.

Initially my concerns getting into this. Especially juice! Wouldn't want to find out I'm tooting on monkey dung byproducts. So I'm leery of some of the retailers on-line, until I see a review from the cats here.

Not all Chinese products are bad. I'm turning in to quite the fan of Hcigar clones because they are great quality at a good price. I like many Joyetech products, and Kangertech, and Shenzhen Eigate Technology (Aspire) as well.

But there are dozens if not hundreds of cheaply made clones of these products that don't work as well. Unfortunately if they are out of the original packaging and in a display case in a B&M store it's very hard to know the difference.
