Should my cartomizer "crackle"

I just got a 510, and purchased cartomizers 18mg green apple. Is it normal for it to make a "crackle" sound? I'm a noob at this and have no idea if I should continue with them or throw them out...Help!

yes the crackling sound you hear is the coil heating the fluid. essentially boiling the fluid.

Some of my Kr8 cartos "crackle". They work fine and I've been using some of them for 2+ months.

That is the crackly goodness of vapor forming in the carto.

SOME really thick VG juice will not crackle, but most of it will. The crackling tells me it is working correctly.

I was surprised how much the 510 cartos like to crackle, and how "airy" the draw is. I put on on my eGo, and it reduces the noise, and tightens the draw a bit. Very nice vaping.
