It bugs some people and some people are ok with it. It does bug me personally but there is nothing I can do about it. I just hope that they do not sell at that price. I understand tacking on ten to twenty percent for a get it now price but double just seems greedy/excessive. Just my opinion and everyone has one of those :)

I guess it's a buyers market. If someone is willing to pay RRP x2 then good luck to them, but I couldn't look myself in the mirror if I tried that crap. I guess you could easily get a price like that if it is hard enough to obtain.
There again, I tried to sell my SB for a fair £62 delivered (RRP £73 plus S+H) and still got told it was too expensive. So what price is fair? I'd rather keep it than give it away.

Those threads on classifieds shows the power of GGTS on one hand but it also forces GG friends to spend too much money for a unit. I will try to stop those threads by making more GGTS. Maybe the solution is to sell GGTS unassembled. That way I will not spend time for assembling and units will come faster to market.

Any other suggestions guys?

Shipping them unassembled is good and bad, as the Assembly process is part of your quality control. For example, the machining error you found in the last batch that delayed the shipment may not have been found and corrected.

However, shipping them unassembled would give the end user an opportunity to actually learn their GG product by having to put it together. As long as assembly directions are provided

Their really is no way to prevent this from happening as there are scalpers and scammers in every walk of life.

Good idea. but... then there will be open margin for errors, like this last time when you had problems with ss connectors. Is this right?

errors on machining are easy to be found Zor. I need only to assemble 5-6 units and I am ok with it. :)

As Zor said maybe a user manual would help BR?
That would speed things Imeo, BUT you have to consider the new GG user... they might not understand on it's assembly unlike us. I can disassemble and reassemble it in my sleep LOL

I think the only solution is to produce larger runs (more units)

For example, Iatty is easy to be assembled but its dificult for me to make 500 wires. I need 1 week to assemble Iatties and 3 weeks to make the wires. Thats a very big delay. So an unassembled device with instructions is a good solution maybe. Maybe the Iatty has to come assembled but without the wire inside and the user will put it inside.

I dont really know.

Imeo, I will do the illustrations for the assembly instructions if you think it will help.
