I saw that you wanted to make a trade and that was very nice of you almig my friend. I am sure that you wanted to find a way to have a UFS, it was obvious. Maybe you wanted to earn as much as you could earn so you could buy a maybe overpriced UFS from another member. But I cant understand why casu wanted to sell it at this price.

ive been exposed, but now that i watched your video about Iatty connectors, I dont want the ufs anymore so im not selling/trading my ssggts , closing thread atm

Here's my opinion (it is worth what y'all are paying for it...) It's a free market guys. If someone is willing to pay what someone is willing to sell their PV for and two people are happy about it, then that's fantastic. Imeo, your work is superior, it shows when older GG models still sell for their original MSRP, or more. I paid the brand new price of a nickel GGTS for an Aluminum one from a great member on here, just so I could use my UFS... was it worth it? Absolutely! Would it be worth it to someone else? Heck if I know, that doesn't matter to me. Yes, it might seem outrageous to ask that much for a new GG, but it's a sellers market.

Imeo, not assembling the units is a decision you have to make, as an artist I know that's a hard one to make. I like Zors idea for a well illustrated guide to the Iatty, a good video with a link on how to wind the atty in the instructions, so us visual learners can "get it". I would love to have an example to see what it is supposed to look like, a well taken Macro photograph would serve this purpose. We are all going to have to learn to wind an Iatty coil, might as well be the first time we use it! 3 weeks to wind all the coils seems like that is time you could better spend producing another batch of GGTS's to feed the fans.
Or the VV, or the Stealth Mod.

Keep up the good work Imeo, you've made a whole lot of people happy, and you will continue to do so! GG family is just growing and there will be growing pains associated with that growth.

Hopefully no one :)

....and you can pat yourself on the back for that?

Let's say I wanted that particular one because it held special meaning to me. The number is exactly what I want and I am happy to pay the asking price. But, you take it on yourself to decide that's too much so the seller pulls the listing before I discover it's available. Who put you in charge of what I or anyone else can pay for something?

...one last thing; as long as you don't mind projecting your opnions about pricing on other people, don't complain when other people do the same for you. Afterall, all that's required is their opinion......

Well now I can officially sell my UFS. *starting thread now!

But really just kidding, a good priced one will be available sooner or later. I wouldn't give up hope on one, having a UFS and iAtty wouldn't be a bad thing.

Again, i understand your train of thought. I'm sorry that we don't agreed on this one. Who is right here? No one, because it is a matter of opinion. If i was to sell an item and someone posted that they thought it was overpriced, i would take that into consideration. Maybe my price wasnt as fair as i thought it was, or maybe they are just trolling...

Sure Rick. "Big ships, big storms" as my father used to say. Its a Greek saying. The more you grow the more the problems. To speak the truth I like problems, I want to resolve them lol

It's pretty obvious in your designs that you love to solve problems, and are exceptionally good at it. Your father's saying is absolutely correct in this instance. Honestly it's a tribute to what you have accomplished with your hard work Imeo. GG community is a dynamic group of people.

My thing is... if they were never used, that's why they are selling them... anyone who tried their GG would never want to give it up... we all want "More GG, More GG!":rickroll: Really the only sad thing here is that it's the seller's loss for not trying "the Real McCoy"

I'm sorry I brought this subject up, it just was the first time I'd seen this happen...........

Don't be sorry Ripple nothing wrong with expressing your opinions and concerns, we all see things differently in this world. It is one of the things that makes life interesting and fun. If we didn't have differing opinions and wants in this world we would all be sitting around with crappy 510 knock offs in our mouths complaining how lousy the draw is.:D

Just because of you ripple I went and punched my dog. lol jk, I was just waiting for this thread after all the GG people went and commented in the classifieds and got deleted. It's actually very admiring that a product tries to get sold with the price doubled before it is even vaped. You know you're doing something right imeo, you have great products. :)

GG products are limited because Imeo takes the time to ensure that each one is the very best quality. We also know that Imeo takes a small profit from each piece to keep GG affordable for most people. That is why it feels wrong when someone takes advantage of this to profiteer from GG - they seem to be taking advantage of Imeo.

That said, the person selling the GGTS for an obscene price probably doesn't know this.

That people are starting to profiteer from GG products is a concern for sure. I would hate to get into a situation where I had no choice, but to pat $400 for a GGTS, because the profiteers bought them all as soon as they went on sale. It could happen.:(

I agree. Dont be sorry. This is a good thread. The classified adds caught me off guard too.It seemed a little greedy but I figure its like anything else on any other market. If the product is that much in demand or in short supply like any of the GG products, than someone will be happy to pay a premium for the convenience of not having to wait or compete in the demand aspect of the process.

Perhaps the seller isn't being "fair" by typical standards but the buyer wouldn't make the purchase if it didn't make them happy.

There are plenty of shady deals in this world that can lead too innocent people being ripped off but in this case its pretty safe to say the buyer will be an informed consumer so I dont think this is a case where there the buyer would be victimized per say.

This is my only concern about this..

What is to prevent someone with enough cash on hand, the next time a GG product goes up for preorder, to just buy the majority of them from a single supplier themselves. Then turn around and try to sell them at 1.5x-2x the price in the classifieds? They will have cornered the market - Supply and Demand.

One way around this to some extent is to establish preorders well in advance. This way, Imeo knows how many needs to be made and he can add extras to the shipment to cover those who didn't have the cash to actually preorder. This would make it so tat those who actually wanted one, got one an some extras left over fr the casual walk in's or those new to the GG products.

Imeo would get some cash up front from the preorders to help cover his manufacturing costs so he could do a larger run.
