Wow, Rob, you have certainly invested a LOT of money in this for just one month. I am still sitting here with just a 901 and a penstyle, wishing I could spend some more money. My little stash wouldn't impress anyone, so pictures will have to wait until I build up my collection.

It would be really interesting to see some of the tinkerers' collections of prototypes. I bet they have workbenches full of stuff they have played with and since abandoned.

As far as the money goes. I look at it this way. That collection I share with my wife, and both of us quit smoking and switched to ecigs.

What would it have cost us to quit using the patch, gum or even a doctor or therapist. What about going cold turkey and suffering from the mental and physical symptoms that often are associated? I can say I would have spent allot of money to quit, maybe not as much as I spent on ecigs, however I had to know which one was best for me, and so did she.

I look at the cost as a non issue when it comes to our health.

The bottom line is, I have a 16 year old girl, and a 8 year old girl and a 6 year old boy. I want to see them grow up, get married and have children. I want to spend as much time on this planet as possible. My mother in law is on O2 and its because of cigarettes.
Im 37 years old and im not ready to die. I want to live.

At least it's more of an "initial" investment and the ongoing cost's of carts, liquids will be a fraction of what has already been spent. I'm still awaiting my delivery of Super mini and DSE 901B. Can't wait to vape!

Ya, she does the screwdriver and a 901. I just got her the 801.
I was alternating between all of the rest depending on where I am. The 801 I just got is doing my bidding now because of the USB, it has the same hit on USB that my pipe and cigar have.

I cant say I have a favorite yet, but the 801 is coming close on the USB, I have not taken it out on a battery yet.
On battery the cigar and pipe.

I just got a IPOD USB back up battery so I can take the USB e-cig out and about. I also put a USB adapter in my car cig lighter, so I may be able to use the USB 24/7

the only problem i have with "ecigaolics" who flit between one device and another is they miss a very important thing.. how long given all day and every day usage the things actually last..

pipes are wonderful on smoke and batteries.. but their atomizers die just like every other atomizer does.. a new pipe/atomizer is simply tooo expensive to replace when it dies as it will after xxxx number of puffs.. if not for the buyer most certainly for the supplier..

my history with e cigs differs from most.. i started with the best a 901.. but didnt know this at the time.. i then went one by one thru everything else on the planet and ended up right back where i started.. using a 901.. then came a 901 with manual switch and bigger battery..

my desire was simply to find an e smoking device that worked and was cheap to run for a heavy user..

my usb things worked but only for three weeks then the cheap cable failed as cheap cables do when they continually get bent and tugged upon..

mind u i am bit like that.. have two dozen pairs of shoes and just wear the one pair till it wears out then do the same with another pair.. he he

so the real test here will be which one of all those devices will u be using in nine months time.. i know my choice but i could be considered to have a certain bias... he he

I started small and just worked my way up .
Started with the super-mini's and we all know what they're like. Next up was the dse-901 and still use them when im out and about.

Next one was the white pens just to see what they're like. Then i bought the blings because everyone was raving about them and i wanted the battery life, they just dont like 3rd party e-liquid so i just use the blings with ruyan carts and use it sparingly.

Then got the black pen because ..erm...well it's black and that's cool right??
Next was the purple pen , too cheap to not buy from ebay...

and ofcourse the screwdriver is my latest addition and most used. I do still run my black pen next to it 'cause i have a different flavour in that . ( SD is my French pipe smoker..mmmm)

havent felt compelled to by another cig yet , although i have been looking at the intellicig evo to replace the 901 as an out and about ciggie, just waitng for the black one to come out.

The new Janty stick also looks promising too, but i'm a gadget freak , so if it looks cool , i'll buy it, even if it does get chucked in the back of the drawer after a week .lol.

Sure, the point to buying them was originally to settle on one.
As far as atomizers go
The 901 produces the richest flavor delivery.
the 801 comes in close but has more vapor volume.
The pipe has a heavy hit but lower flavor
the cigar is close to the 801 but has a heavier hit
The mini's well they are major hit or miss. Its like a box of chocolates.

Battery wise the best battery I have hands down is the USB battery back up. However that means you are on a cable. Pros to that is at your desk, in the car you can have USB power. So the USB can indeed be an all day device. And for $10 for a USB ecig you cant go wrong. They are cheaper than batteries.

Second best battery is between the one in the pipe and the one in trogs screw driver. However both batteries have draw backs and reliability of them is not perfect. Then again no rechargeable battery is.

801,901 then mini's are in order for battery.

Bottom line? there is none, you have to choose what you prefer in an ecig. Not everyone feels one feature out weighs another.

Right now, im likeing USB on the 801. Ya it looks like a Borg on star trek but it gets the job done and the supplies are cheap. Atomizers are $6 and USB cable is $10. My battery back up can be pugged into the wall if it dies, and there is a USB port in my computer and my car.

kinda cute if u like fat cigars... its a DX rechargble one... tastes like a cheap cigar and it works.. just tooo bloody big for me.. huge carts with about 4 ml in em.. perfect for the ecigaholic to have a play with.. he he
