Well, hubbs and I are at the age where we've got everything we need and most things we want. Not only is it hard for our grown children to figure out what to give to us, but we have an equally difficult time figuring out for each other. What we've resorted to is buying all during the year whatever hits our fancy and the "big" days go to a fancy dinner. So, under the Christmas tree has been bare the last few years. Our kids are far afield and usually can't make it for the holidays, so it's pretty much same ol' same ol' as to celebration and gifts are in the mail.

However, this time hubbs surprised me. Yeppers, he did. For a birthday present last Oct. I got myself a Vapor Shark rDNA30 and so far hadn't bought replacement batteries. No hurry cause I had plenty other devices with extra batteries for them as backup, so when he came out with a little gift bag with Christmas wrapped batteries, I was beside myself! Believe me when I say, I've been gifted in the past with diamonds to vacuum cleaners, and this by far was a wonderfully thoughtful gift from my NON-smoking hubby. :)

Then there was a little something extra in the bottom of the bag. Yep, the newly popular iStick......in that fuscia pink color. The fact that I have the Vapor Shark, 4 ProVaris and an equal amount of MVP's made no difference to him. He just though I should have an iStick to see what all the fuss was about. His special present? A band saw purchased on sale early last mo. Now I've got to think of something for him to make me so he can use it! :p

I NOW understand my grandparents and parents saying don't get me anything. Got everything I need. Spend towards the kids......It's the "kids" that make Christmas.....and I miss having them around. :(

Vicshalls, I'm sorry this Christmas is grim for you and hope that your future turns into brighter fare. Do know that troubles have a way of working themselves out and eventually we get to a comfortable place. Please accept my good wishes for you for a happier 2015. :)

Not vape related Christmas present, as my wife has NO IDEA what to get me.

I got it 2 weeks early because as you can see its a little hard to hide...

I had to get rid of my first one about 15 years ago and she knew I wanted another one real bad!!

I think I'll keep her around for a bit longer!

Sorta got my gift and sorta waiting and working on it. I always get a couple days off from guiding clients, for Christmas, and I try to take my wife hunting for a couple days. We're in the blind right now and still enjoying an occasional vape, as you can see. Quiet time in a blind with my wife, enjoying the great outdoors and watching wildlife from up close - that's my favorite Christmas gift. Well, except for the times one of our kids is with me. If the deer in the picture below shows up, we'll get a bonus Christmas gift!!

I treated myself to a copper slug and a 454 rda. I gifted my 9yo son with a ps4 complete with 4 games that he loves. I was going to get him the games online but decided to get him extra gifts in the form of real games instead. Thankfully I did as XBOX live and the Play Station network got hacked yesterday and no multi-player or redeeming games online is happening due to hackers taking down both sites. Merry Christmas Everyone and especially to the people having a tough year. Hope next year is better for you!

Do not ever consider yourself alone. You are a part of a family here on ecf. It may be sad to some, but my family here made my Christmas more special than I could have imagined. There is a new year right around the corner. One that is full of hope for all. I wish you good things in the coming year.
