Looks Beautiful!!! What device are you putting them on? Did you get more than one? *hugs* Sweetheart!

They look great on my wood mods-The Phidias and Ali'i with the brown drip shield (all four). They also pop on my Red Ego!
These are the latest additions and they really make the wood mods pop:

Nice collection.
The latest from EmpireMods-24K Gold plated tips-blingingly pretty! View attachment 66007
Does the shorty type on the right work as well as the std. type in the middle of the other two esp. as far as keeping liquid out of the mouth? Do you know where to get a SS shorty? I just have the std. type.

The shorty is 901 specific and most all shorties will transfer heat pretty quickly and will also allow spit back from an atomizer. Plus your lips are so much closer to the casing of an atomizer. You can get shorty tips from SuperTManufacturing and the kingpin from vipvaporcig is a size between the shorty and a standard. The best way to not get splash back is to remove the tip to drip and to not over drip. If you can do both of those things the only time you'll get juice in the mouth is when your atomizer decides it wants to spit at you.
I do know that the glass tip that Bert with Trippytips made that has a double channel is one I want to try. Seems like that could put an end to the dreaded juice splatter.

That's a classy looking setup you have there! Can I ask you about those ribbed metal looking things you have on there? Are those cartos or attys or just some kind of cover? Where did you get them? They look very unique and cool.

Those are drip shields and they come from empiremods.com as erich said. They are made to go over the 901 atomizer but will fit over a 510. Since the 901 has a hole on the casing under where the juice cup sits, the 901 is prone to leaking. The shield catches the leakage and allows you to suck the juice back into the atomizer hole instead of the jucie running down the mod. For 510 use you should get a 510-510 adapter so the shield can go further down to catch the juice.

It's a drip shield, the most common of which are the Empire Mods ones.

Wondering, though, if those tips only fit the drip shield, or if they're standard 510
The wood tips are in a 510 atomizer (in the pic) and they fit the 901 as well.

Thanks
I am not doing a lot of dripping & normally just use a cart whistle tip & remove it so that takes care of it. I got a std. contoured translucent smoke drip tip so I could tell if it did not go down the center & am using a 6ml glass dropper bottle & it does good putting it down the middle. Any comments on metal tips?

The main problem I have read about and do believe is that some people can taste the material that a drip tip is made of, which messes with the flavor of what ever you are vaping. Some people are sensitive to metals/plastics/acrylics/ceramic or woods yet most never notice a difference. I do not have that problem. The one tip I have never heard anyone complain on taste from is a pyrex/glass. They are just afraid of breaking the tip. The glass tips are so much easier to take care of, cleaning is a breeze and you can see inside. You can see when it needs to be cleaned and you can wash it with whatever-like the glass you drink tea from.
If you are already used to removing the cart and dripping-it would be the same for a lot of tips out there. Pop it off, drip into the atomizer, replace and vape. The shorter a metal tip, the resistance of atomizer and how long of a hit you take will all determine heat transfer to the metal drip tip. Short metal tip on a LR/HR atomizer and a 5-6 second draw off an e-cig will heat up quick.

People are a little overly paranoid about glass, IMO. Pyrex is made to withstand temperature changes and is stronger than a drinking glass. People will drink a glass of ice water that subjects it to a much greater temperature change... but mention a glass drip tip or tank and they act like their eyes are in jeaopardy

Out of all my tips, my favorites are the pyrex/glass tips. They allow more vapor to come through in an open channel and give that full hit that I used to get from smoking. They take the temperature changes in stride and I can throw them in the sink and wash away without a second thought. You can see if the juice dropped down to the atomizer or if you need to blow it through. An airlock is created once a drip tip is put on an atomizer and the thickness of your juice is the deciding factor of going all the way through or stopping in the tip.
There is a downside. You have to know what you are looking a t(web pic wise) to know if it suits your specifications on size. The vendors know I am a girl and prefer a medium sized tip-so that helps. Hand blown tips come in all different shapes and sizes and you have to include specifics in the comments when ordering.

Make sure you buy the 510-510 Sealed adapter if your going to use a 510 Atty, they come both ways sealed and non sealed, it's a great set up with the sealed 510-510 using a 510 Atty, make sure when you put it on the Atty you also lush the adapter up inside the Empire drip shield so the top of the 510 Adapter is just above the bottom O-Ring too, the bottom flat side of the adapter should be just about flush with the bottom of the drip shield for the correct application, also with the tiny hole that's on the drip shield being up top. I fully agree with HzG8rGrl being that the pyrex is BEST,,, Just got a couple of pyrex Atty tanks Rocking with some Trippys a top and there va va va voom :)
