So Candy, does that mean Anton is staying?!?
Oh, yes. We met him on Tuesday. We took our dogs for a meet & greet on Wednesday and he came home with us. He fits right in and he's so totally my daughter's dog already. He follows her around and snuggles up to her, he'll run and play and all kinds of stuff. Our vet says she thinks he's a schnauzer/dauchaund mix. Honestly, I don't care what he is. He's part of our family and a pet.
Our chihuahuas are great little dogs, but they aren't ones to want to play and fetch and all that. I'm glad my daughter has that now. She's always wanted a playful dog, but I didn't want to deal with a large dog, so this is a good compromise.
He's already spoiled rotten. We got him a Kong and put PB in it the other day to distract him from the humping. Geez louise. The vet did say that some male dogs do have an increase in that the week or two after being fixed and he should lay off once the testosterone is out of his system.
