I'm not much of a "let me whip out pictures of my pets for you" kinda guy, but this thread is kinda comforting in a way.
Here's my lil guy that has been a huge parent figure to some homeless kittens that we rescued.
Oh yeah what goes around comes around, he's also a rescue pet. 3 different people took him in then left him at the pound, now he has a home on ten acres and tons of squirrels to chase :D

Here are my babies

Next are our reptiles

your doggies are so cute, and your lizards are so healthy looking. are those what they call bearded dragons?

Yes they are called bearded dragons. They are super sweet. I got them to breed and won't have time due to change in job so I am going to sale them. They make super great pets too but when I ought them last year I did not intended to keep them as "pets". They are great fun though and love to hang out on your shoulder or lap. :)

Oliver, name on the paperwork at least, but does respond well to it. When I take him with me to the Frisbee golf course, people came up and asked if his name is dude since everytime he diggs for a ground squirrel or wonders around I keep saying, dude what are you doing? Ha
His last name should be Chaplin tho, I wonder if anyone will get this reference.

Ok, to start off here is Bubba. He was a very special dog to me because I found him in the woods outside my workplace 3 times, I always fed him and called his owner (he had tags). The guy was an a$$hole and would always yell at him and act like it was SOOOO inconvenient for him to have to come pick him up.

Well the 4th time I found him he was beaten pretty badly and emaciated, he was a hunting dog and he had a new scar on his eye and didn't see great anymore so I am sure the guy just dumped him and left him for dead. This time he also did not have tags so I called the wife and informed her we were getting a new dog, she fell in love with him too of course.

Within 2 months he gained about 30 pounds and had a fantastic 3 more years in a home where he was very much loved.

I am pretty much the opposite of a violent person but I have to tell you I had to talk myself out of going to that guys house and throwing him a beating. I did however inform him that I had his dog and that he would finally be loved as he deserved to be.

Mourningshadow I couldn't have blamed you if you had but I'm happy you didn't! Otherwise that adorable pup might not have been able to live out his last years in a wonderful loving home! Chester is soooo adorable! Your photography is great! Did you take those pics yourself?

Thanks, he had a pretty great last few years being spoiled like crazy. Yes I am the photographer.
