Luke, my foster failure. I love his ridiculously cute underbite.

I have more, but I'd take up pages posting picture of them all! :p

I'm not usually a pug person (shh don't tell my bf that, he has two fat ones, but they're sweet :p ) but yours OMG. pugs are just hilarious! George, love the name. And luke's underbite is awesome. But I'm partial to your chi, I'd love a long haired one, but I think my current chi would eat any other dog i got.
oh and im pretty sure it looks like your chi is about to nom nom on your bird!

They don't make bad pets, easy to take care of, free feed them, fill the water bottle when needed, clean the cage every once in a while. Biggest problem is they can be temperamental if you go a few days without holding them. They don't bite, but the quills can hurt, lol.

If I went a Few Days without Holding my cat, she Wouldn't get Temperamental.

She would just Claw my Eyes Out while I Slept.

Thanks for the wonderful thread. Spent the last two hours viewing all 76 pages. Having to live vicariously through all of you for now. I had owned pets/animals all my life (dogs, rabbits, squirrels, goats, pigs, horses, cows, chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, birds and probably more....it was like a zoo at feeding some times). But my last two children (15 & 17 a black and a orange Pomm) left a huge hole in my wife and my hearts that has been hard to get over. Still hard to think about them even after much time has passed. But I am trying to move on and really want to own pets again, I think it would help us so much. But the wife, not so easy to convince of that.

Ever since seeing Beastmaster as a kid, I always wanted to own ferrets. My own Pogo and Kodo. Small animals are a better fit for our current home and yard. Trying very hard to talk the wife into it, but not pushing (too hard). Hopefully one day we can move on. After all, it is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all (especially for pets). But until then, any more ferret owners? Only saw a couple in all those pages.

if this video works...this is my lil guy....

I love him soooo much

Ruki tricks - YouTube

I have actually seen this cute little guy on YouTube before. Funny that your on ECF...small world. I scour YouTube for the newest ferret videos all the time. Thanks. At least I can have them on the video screen for now (and all my screen savers....not so subtle hints to the wife). :):)

Ferrets rock... although their smell could clear a porta-potty, lol.

Here's one of mine, Capone, we got him almost immediately after getting out first (George) because we found out he was deaf.

Another reason hedgehogs rock is because they make funny faces by pulling their quills over their faces.
