About a week ago I received an order of five packages of standard SI cartos and I'm having a world of problems with them - all so far seem to have a super-tight draw, gunk up/turn black inside within a day, and impart a really muted, funky taste to the juice. SI isn't my usual brand of carto but I've used them before and they were fine - in fact I was so certain they'd be good that I went ahead and popped 'em all out of the foil packets (to save storage space), so sending them back isn't an option. I know for a fact it isn't the juice, because juice from the exact same bottle tastes/vapes fine in another brand of carto (just basic crappy Kangers). Anyone else have a problem with SI cartos recently??

Ive used SI's cartos (I believe theyre Kanger) and I didnt care for the flavor the filler material imparted on the juice no matter the place I purchased them from. So I switched to Boge kr808d-1/302d cartos, much better flavor IMHO. Although, I didnt experience the other problems you did.
I always thought SI's cartos were Kanger, too, but this last batch has convinced me they're not. There seems to be significantly less filler in the SI's than in the Kangers, or at least there's a much bigger gap between where the filler stops and the top of the carto; they ship with a slightly different "plug", and they fit in the condoms entirely differently. Plus after I wrote my original post I found a forgotten small stash of Kangers and filled one, and the juice that was absolutely awful in the SI cartos was as lovely as ever in the Kanger. I don't know what's up - I have a half dozen SI X2 batts and I couldn't be happier with them - but I do know I won't be buying SI cartos again.

I've been using SI's cartos for 2+ years, and except for 1 or 3, they have always been the same. I got two packs in the last sale, and won't be opening them for a few weeks, yet. I'll speak up if there is some sort of problem, because I will certainly be surprised.
We asked and asked, and it's been confirmed that they're NOT Kangers. Sounds like there might be something up with this batch, because they're actually my favorite cartos. Maybe try emailing customer service about it anyway? Tell them what you told us here. Do you have a way to check resistance? Maybe they're off on the ones you have.
Oh, wait. I did have this problem with FlavorWest White Chocolate once, but I thought it was the flavor. Didn't even think to try it on anything else. So maybe they don't play nice with certain flavors...dunno now. Have you tried other flavors in them?
