So yeah ....... To be honest I'm getting sick of people bugging the .... out of me about ecigs. Everywhere I go I have to explain to someone what this thing is I'm sucking on. When I'm at work it just doesn't stop!! "Where can I get one of those" "the hell is that?" "What does it do?" "does it have nicotine?" "why not just smoke?" "can you order me one of those?" .........
I've been courteous and helpful to people for a long time. I've ordered stuff for people and dealt with the noob questions "I burnt this, can you fix it?" "Can I place another order through you? - I don't want to do it myself"

No more!! Just yesterday a guy asked me what I was smoking. I told him it's a device that controls my diabetes. He's like "wow! That's high tech" ..... omfg!!

Hateful?? ..... some may think that. Not me, I just wanna vape in peace man. As long as my wife and I stay on the vape wagon I could care less about other people vaping or not. From now on my response is going to be "Look it up on the net man, it's great stuff!".

Sorry for the rant. I just had to get that off my chest ;)

Vape on!!

I really enjoy telling strangers about ecigs. I love being asked questions about them. It gives me an excuse to talk about them, since everyone else I know is completely and utterly sick of hearing about them... *sigh*.
That said, I've noticed people ask way fewer questions when I'm using a bigger PV. If I've just got my joye 510, they want to know everything, but if I've got my lavatube, they just assume I'm smoking crack.

Being large and scary looking has its benefits :D no one ever bothers me about my ecig LMAO.

Though if they did I don't think I'd find it much of a bother. Look at it this way: the more people interested in ecigs, the more it will get noticed by the government and hopefully we can get some of the stupid bans lifted.

Should also ask your vendor if they have some business cards you can have, and hand those out instead of placing orders for people

Hope you feel better now :).

You know what, do whatever you want to do I say. You're not obligated to anyone. No one is at fault here, but you know that walking around smoking something that is outside the norm and ahead of it's time is going to attract attention.

So yeah, just tell them to look it up, give them ECF's url maybe at the very least and let them figure it out. It's a shame that the learning curve is rather big and daunting but that's not your problem. If only we could say, yeah I bought it at this store they'll tell you everything, go there...

Haha, I am in the same boat there, I make sure to carry around different vendor business cards to hand out to folks that do dare approach me about it. The ones I hate are the smokers who claim to have tried vaping and say it does not work, 10 out of 10 times they have bought some POS from 7-11 with no nicotine.....I let them know that there is no nic in them and most of them don't even know, so I will tell them that juice with nic IS available, if they continue on about it being a fad or some BS i will just walk away at that point.

Yeah I think I told Tom @ Canvape I need business cards every email he and I had together. The one thing you should do is get as small and discrete PV you can while out in public, so you don't get noticed as much.

I like answering peoples questions, and it's a good thing because the SS LT gets lots of attention everywhere I go, and I am almost out of the business cards I had, so will be needing to ask for more when I put my next order in.

Even the people that shake their head at me and smile/make lol comments in the smoking section at work ( we deal with a lot of different contractors/subs, and new crews come in all the time ) eventually start asking questions and wonder where I got it at.

I give them the quick run down of answers to the most common questions I get, and if they ask where I got it they get a business card for juice and one for hardware.

TBH since I started vaping my wallet is like george castanza's with all the cards I try to keep in there... often makes me wonder about opening my own shop lol

I constantly frequent the Vietnamese Coffee cafe scene here in SoCal so when the girls want to come sit at my table, wearing nothing but body paint and a smile, to ask me about my vape I am more than happy to tell them all about it. These places are filled with smoke and half of them smoke but want to quit sooooo. I get to be a hero and cop some eye candy while I'm at it!
