Right, I don't understand VW.

I own an eVic. It is my second favorite device. It is great and I hope it lasts a long time. I have already had to repair the head two times since I got it at the end of February. Both jobs required re-soldering and re-attaching the head. It is a known fact that eVics are not the most solidly constructed mods. The eVic has a great display, lots of features, and the innovative ability to receive firmware updates. It is a very interesting new product. It also has limits that hurt it like the previously mentioned 5v/11w issue. I went ahead and purchased a replacement head for it. I believe that is a required item if you want to count on your eVic. Also, while the voltage is better regulated and controlled than any of the 33Hz devices, it is only accurate while the battery output is equal to or less than the battery power remaining. The further above this number you get, the worse the accuracy of the device becomes. This has been true with both of the eVic heads I have tested. So to me, until that is operating correctly, the VW function is starting from a bad position where the output is 10-15% off.

So now the $80 eVic is $130-135, if you feel like I do that an extra head is required equipment.

I got my Provari full sized satin finish with extension cap for $174. For about forty bucks more, I have a device that will last years and years and is backed by ProVape service if there is a (rare) problem, which is the best in the business. The output in VV is exactly right (within one percent) from the first puff to the last, even when the battery is indicating low charge. This is documented as well in Phil B's review of it.

This is why I value the ProVari VV done correctly higher than the eVic VW done incorrectly. I hope this explanation does not make anyone feel that they are the victim of a Nazi ProVari Fanboy/Troll attack on the eVic.

Ok, if ANYONE else is going to claim I've started a thread like this, I'd like to see proof through a link. The ONLY post I have made other than this involving the Provari was when I was considering a purchase and realized I couldn't seem to find any facts out about it among all the personal praise, and I wanted stats on what made it unique. If anything, that thread just goes to illustrate my point. People jumped on me for criticizing it when all I was saying was I couldn't see what made it unique in comparison to several other devices.

If anything, those that keep on with the attacks have just convinced me I DON'T want to own a Provari just so I don't get confused as being one of them.

In general, I'm getting sick of this forum... it's just a place for drama queens to do what they love best. I don't have to deal with this much crap on any other site or forum I frequent, probably because those sites are actually moderated. Even this thread has got replies that are making me roll my eyes because they just seem to be here to provoke crap. You know... forget I made this thread... forget I ever even came to this site for that matter. I'm out. Have fun with your love fest. This place is garbage and there are way more informative (and less abusive) forums elsewhere. I shouldn't have even gotten to the point of being so fed up that I made this thread, and the fact I did tells me this is NOT a good place to be at all.
