I've spent the last few month buying and using cheap nasty clones and now want a box mod. Must be hard wearing, small as possible, have long life battery fitted. Just want to stick a kayfun on the top and go so no bottom feeding squonkers or whatever. Yes the istick could suit but it's not very nice to look at and to many complaints about no drop down power side. Don't need high power yet, I wrap all my coils between 1.0 and 2.2ohms at the moment. A couple of variable mods I have only go up 15w and I've never needed more yet. I do like the look and style of the zero, but can't find a uk supplier and focal will not ship them to uk or would of bought by now. What can you suggest?

Have you looked at an E-LVT it runs off a single 18650 battery. It has an on board charger and the cord is included, it is basically water, dust, and impact resistant has a flashlight built in and can be used as a portable power source to charge a cell phone if needed. Is it the best out there no but it is durable relatively compact and it doesn't have to be sent back to the manufacturer if a battery fails. It is a 15 watt mod and I believe that it only goes down to 1.3ohms like a vamo but if you want a box it will withstand some abuse and performs really well I have a guy that works for me that has one and he loves it. Check out an E-Power 3 it is a high mah box that is a 15 watt no batteries to change and it has some pretty cool features as well. I have had bad luck with Cloupor Clones and truthfully all DNA mods so I don't recommend any of those. All the ones I have had the screens go to sleep and won't wake up so you can't adjust your wattage because the screen won't light up I have returned them to the company and they sent me a replacement unit and 2 weeks later the replacement did the same thing so sent it back for second time when the 3rd Cloupor DNA 30 mod did the same thing it got used for target practice zeroing my new scope on my 308 rifle. Sigelei 100 watt has been good to me and I haven't had any technical issues with it but that is far more than what you say you want at this point. However, it would give you all the head room you could ever want wattage wise and allow you to run lower ohm RDA and RDTA builds if you choose. My buddy runs a protank2 with custom .7 ohm built coil-head at 22 watts on his and loves it but when he wants to rip his Tobh at .3 ohm and 80 watts it gets the job done. I wish I had more options that I knew of but these are the only ones that I have hands on experience with.

If you're looking for mechanical I love the Kato Box. You may well scratch up the center aluminum body (top & bottom are stainless), but you won't easily break it, it's classy looking, takes 18650 flat top battery, it's a little shorter than an MVP2 but wider, and has a solid feel to it. And only the drip tip of your Kayfun will stick out the top so it's fairly compact in that regard, albeit heavy. It's a nice 'fuss-free' mod if you like mechanicals that don't fall over ;)

Have been using a Vapor Shark rDNA 30 since Oct. 5th all day every day. Like it so much got every colored Sharkskin. A girl's got to have colors matching, you know. The size is right, with replaceable battery, and can be replaired. Any way, Fri. they are having a 20% (?) off sale; so now's the time to buy! :D

I did purchase a VS 30 off a buddy BNIB but I think its pricey. Even though you don't want high wattage I think a Sig 100w is the best bang for your buck on the market currently, that's just my opinion. I do know though that its a great build quality and I put one through a hell of a beating within the last three months I owned it including dropping it off a ladder and out of my coat breast pocket numerious times. It can be had for like eighty to one hundred I am sure and I use one with a kayfun 97% of the time essentially and it vapes just perfect. Then if you ever want to go up in wattage and get a dripper or whatever you have the option. Another few good points are the battery life, throw two 22something or higher mah good batteries in it and your good, the magnets are great I personally don't use the screws and finally both of mine, my brothers, my bosses and his sisters all came from three varied vendors but came with a variety of center pins and a screw driver (I always like extras although I know that's worth about half a cent lol)

I have BEEN telling people to get the Sig and everyone loves it. It chucks and hits heavy to at about 80w with a ,4 build in my tobh as well haha.

Re the e-lvt 15 watt,
the e-lvt 2 came out recently, available on fasttech, up to 30 watts.

Thanks for all the input everyone.
The egrip I do like, maybe as a workday mod but haven't heard many people rate it properly and the coils being so pricey is off putting.
Sick of trash yes, that's not to say I'm sick off clones, if they are built right they can be as good and sometimes better than the originals. I'm not saying we are being ripped off by makers, mass production will reduce costs so will cheap labour. And I mentioned the Zero because it just looks so good style wise.
The E-lvt is very impressive but not very stylish to me.
Love the Vaper Shark DNA size but unsure of the battery life so going to do some serious research and searching for the R-DNA.

Unless anyone recommends something better........

To me the iStick looks as cute as a puppy, but it won't light up a one ohm coil. The alleged power regulation issues haven't stopped me and countless others being delighted with it, and it's still flying off the shelves. In fact I'm waiting for myepack to restock so I can send my son one.
