I don't know about you, but I'm sick of leaking clearomizers. I also don't like that , for the most part nobody will stand behind their product. I can't begin to tell you how many are DOA or start leaking.
Most of the clearomizers are anywhere between $5.00 to $10.00. The attitude seems to be just send us your money, we don't give a s---
Sorry, to all. I had to vent.

I use Vision Vivi Nova's. I'm happy with the performance and have never had a leaking problem with any of the 7 or 8 I own. After shopping several websites, I've discovered that not all suppliers sell Vision Vivi Nova. I wonder if some of them are knock offs. I've read about problems with some of the knock offs.

I won't purchase unless the supplier specifies Vision Vivi Nova. ymmv, but you might want to give a genuine Vision Vivi Nova a try.

I just got the Vivi Nova, yesterday and so far so good. I have purchased Smoktech redux , Stardust and Ce4 or 5. I liked that i could get a flat tip with the Smoktech Redux and liked it right away. Then after cleaning leaking started. I use standard eGo batts.
Why do we just except, that everyone selling these products can just take our money and not make good on all the ones that do not work or perform as they should. All my purchases are on line. There are no brick and motar stores near me, so it would cost more to sead it back.
Once again sorry about the crying, just fed-up

My response was get into rba'S. I was tired of the crap. Plus, with the gennie style I can drip the tank completely dry.

Same issue here. I have spent a fair amount of money just buying different styles of cartomizers, and tank systems. In my case, I am particularly sensitive to the issue because I am designing a smoke generation system to be installed inside a puppet. Leakage would make a bad mess.

I think that certain types of designs simply cannot be made leak-proof. I had posted about this before, you can see the issue in the image attached. As long as the liquid can touch a hole that leads out, you can leak. For example in a typical cartomizer tank system, there are small holes in the bottom of the cartomizer. The problem is that as barometric pressure, or the temperature heats the air inside the tank, the air inside can expand and push the liquid out the hole.

On the Vision eGo clearomizer, which I have used without leaking, it is important to realize that the above problem can still happen if the liquid is permitted to be at the hole where the wick enters into the atomizer. That level is marked... but ONLY when the cartomizer is UPRIGHT. If the e-cig is laying down, or perhaps is upside down in your pocket, the same level of liquid that was acceptable when it was upright is now too much. It will hold very little juice if you only limit yourself to what will fill up to the wick hole when the unit is upside down.

I recently ordered a set of "clearomizers" but in reality only the shell was clear, and the insides were filled with absorbent material. They were the I am sure this design is leak-proof as long as you don't over fill it. But, in reality it is impossible to know how much is too much. After the first usage, you can't see how much juice is there. If you put too much, then liquid juice can stay in the center, and leak out later. Another problem, 1 out of the 4 I have tried was defective.

Yet, I am still hearing the siren songs... I am hoping to buy the Innokin iClear 30, even though I don't like the metal tip. I am figuring it has more capacity than others if I hold it upside down, and only consider its fluid capacity to be where it is filled so that liquid is below the wick holes.

Gee... I think you can tell that I am unemployed. All my posts are becoming books.

i have a vivi nova in 2.5 ml and a 3.5 ml and i have never had a problem leaking....yet

Can you do do a test for us? Put enough liquid in, so that it is definitely above the wick holes when the unit is upside down. Then put it upside down in your pocket. Perhaps it would be wise to put the tip down in a baggie first, and perhaps with a bit of paper towel. Then, check for leaks in a half hour or so.

In the cooler climates, perhaps the cycling of going inside and outside with it in your pocket is a more severe test. Then, you have more frequent cycling and more extreme temperatures. You might have to be outside for more than a few minutes, to allow the e-cig to get cold. The air inside the chamber will cool, and contract, drawing in new air through the fluid covered wick holes. Then, when it warms up, the air warms and expands, forcing liquid out.

Now the above will also be true for bottom atomizers when the e-cig is stored upright.

Kanger is proprietary to the eGo batteries. I find their T2's to be excellent, dribble free and a nice draw plus they have replacement heads that cost @ $1 - 1.60 if you shop around.

The threads are so fine they easily crossthread or wear down easy on most all of these "clearos" A metal tank helps but you can't see in for low juice. Kangers have been great for me too

Sadly, vaping technology is where automotive technology was back in about 1908. We customers are the beta-testers.

The good news is that the technology does get better, at least it has in my two years' worth of vaping. Does anyone remember the blue-foam-stuffed cart and atty technology? I do, but not fondly.

My first clearomizers that I made the mistake of buying 5 of, back in july, could'nt hold liquid. I don't buy anything by Microcig now, but who knows, maybe they were having a bad day at the factory. Since then, Ive had great luck with Vision V2, 2.0 and Vivi mini. And I love my Kanger T2. But I do understand, there are leaks and there are LEAKS. I wish you better luck, when they work, they can work well.
