sickly sweet, medicinal smelling/tasting PG

Hi all,

I just opened my pint bottle of Paddock brand PG, that I bought from the local pharmacy a few days ago. Not only is it thicker than the only other PG I've had from an e-liquid seller, but it smells; kind of sickly sweet/medicinal. Is it normal for PG to have a taste/smell, or should it be almost without scent/taste?

It should smell sweet and clean, no distasteful smell. I just had a bad one also, wouldn't use it, too risky without knowing what's up with it. The one I'm talking about actually looked kinda 'bumpy" wasn't nice and smoothly textured, like thin syrup.

Whew... I tried vaping some of it... blec! Good thing I kept the receipt, I hope they'll take this bottle back. In the mean time, I guess it's back to dilute VG. Does anyone know of a sure bet for good PG online? Price is not a big factor, so long as it's the good stuff.

Jherek, I am in Missouri, too, and I just had my local pharmacy order a bottle for me. It was about $9 for a pint.

I got my pg from my freedom smokes. 500 ml is $18.95 and 1000 ml is $39.95. I think I would get 2 500ml...its cheaper!!!

Thanks for the tip. I placed an order on Sunday night from them for 500 ml. Hopefully, it'll get here soon.

I tried taking the bad PG back to the pharmacy I bought it from and they told me they can't refund me for it since it was opened!

"How am I supposed to know it's foul, if I don't open it?" I asked.

"Sorry, that's our policy." came the reply.



Oddly, this is a locally owned pharmacy. I expect this kind of treatment from a big corporation, but this is really shocking. Looks like I'm gonna write the owner a letter. Maybe Paddock pharma, too.
