I have to ask the question even though its a little bizarre. It has been a month since I quit smoking and started vaping and I couldn't be happier. There is a small issue that has come a long with it, I am getting nose bleeds. This doesn't happen often maybe a couple times a week but more than I ever had in the past. I am fairly confident this is just due to not drinking enough water since I see there is a lot of talk about dehydration with vaping. I just was hoping to get confirmation of the dehydration being the culprit and see if any others have expierenced the same. So have you had anything weird or similar to this when you started vaping?

*Please note I am not seeking medical advice, if it was a real problem I would most certainly call a Dr. Also I am consciously making an effort to drink more water.

I know you're looking for answers from some one that has had this happen to them, and it has not to me. I do recall though someone else posting about this a couple of days ago. Most all that answered pretty much said it's a cause from getting off Cigs and your body trying to heal its self. And yes, the need to drink lots and lots of water. Personally, I don't see how anyone can Vape and NOT drink lots and lots of water. My mouth stays SO dry while Vaping...which is good I guess, as it's always a good thing to drink lots of water.

Best of luck to you!!

Yup, make sure you are hydrated. I always have a glass of water within arms reach while I vape; I just make it a good habit. If the climate is dry, that further compounds the issue, plus if you have seasonal allergies, you could have nasal irritation. Vaping does dry out your airways. Get yourself some saline spray as well.

I got nosebleeds from all sorts of weird issues. When I was doing hyperbaric oxygen treatments, I'd drink water like crazy, and I still got nosebleeds from the different mix in the atmosphere. There wasn't anything the techs could do when I was locked in to a chamber so I lay there bleeding. If that didn't concern the doc and nurses who were right there monitoring a hospital patient, then I figure nose bleeds aren't too much of a big deal.

If you're young, don't have high blood pressure, aren't on blood thinning drugs, then the nose bleeds may certainly be dramatic but are benign. It's not worth a freak out in the vast majority of cases because it happens in the blood vessels in the front of the nose, not the back of the nose (in THAT case, you should see an ENT specialist).

In my NY accent, I'll say, "Don't worry 'bout it."
