It's well past time to recognize that nobody is willing to admit that everything they've ever done was wrong and for the wrong reasons.

Siegel: «I am discouraged about the possibility that people like Dr. Glantz and Dr. Chapman will change their minds about the potential utility of e-cigarettes if further evidence accumulates to demonstrate the benefits of these products. The science is simply not going to matter to them. Hopefully, the science will matter to the FDA.»

Yeah,

Sad that there are so many around that would happily see people die rather than admit to having been wrong. Also it must be terrifying to live with the fear of history judging them if they are unable to stop the ever looming tsunami of usage and evidence of benefit. Must be hard to sleep at night for some guys these days.
