I use "since my last", noticed my banner gone. No message to explain anything and when trying to put it back, get an error that it contains a censored work (?). Not a very informative error.

And as the banner is the same on another site I use, I don't see any change, aside from a small thing that says "Zample box", but it doesn't link to anything other than Since My Last...Don't see how that's SPAM or affects anything for ECF...??

Because that's now a product endorsement for everyone who had been using that banner - whether you like it or not. Never used Zamplethingy, don't like the concept - and now I'm a Zamplethingy fan all of a sudden? You didn't have a choice promoting that company in a banner that previously had no advertising in it - that was the problem.

hmmm I was using the "since...my...last ...cig" banner & now feel lost

I don't see what the problem "IS" with the small "Zample" logo within the banner art ,
I don't know what Zample is but hey ....
if they are keeping the banner active than my thanks go to them ...
and I would have chosen to KEEP using it, if given the option.

That banner is the only one I had found thru the years that showed the info that I wanted to see.
I LOVE ECF & Cassa & Gotvapes & others, but their banners just don't provide the info I wanna' SEE .

grrr, off to search for a new banner .......

Yep. I might have to switch to a CASAA banner and set up a spread sheet to keep track of my spending and days/years.

Thanks for posting , the one you are using will work ..
I wish it was years/months/days ...NOT just days but it will work .

I used to use a spread sheet type deal ... I will go & see if I can find it ...

Why should someone get advertising dollars without paying ECF to do so? This is why the site was blocked. In essence, they were getting free advertising without having to pay ECF for it.

Not to mention, Adblock has been blocking "since my last cigarette" for some time now.

I don't really care about it either way or any other way. But aren't the counters that go to vendors the same? Are those only approved vendors?

Yeah, my adblocked blocked it along with everything else from ECF. Once I excluded ECF mine showed. It was only for myself anyway and I saved the link a long time ago.

In that case shouldn't the Mrs. T's Bakery banners be blocked as well? I thought they had their forum supplier access pulled for non payment and were persona non grata around here because of shoddy business practices. Their banner leads directly to their website and could potentially send someone who doesn't know about the whole buyer beware issue.

I think I need to switch banners, mine doesn't seem to be doing the math correctly.

So, are folks still allowed to have Provari or Halo logo's in their signatures? Isn't that free advertising for those companies? If members don't have the option to advertise companies in their signatures, then you need to make it a global rule and not just random enforcement.

If you notice, Halo and ProVape are registered suppliers on ECF.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-forum-rules/51178-forum-rules.html

23. Signature (sigs)
a. No animated graphics are allowed in signatures and there are no exceptions.
b. No affiliate links are allowed in signatures.
c. No commercial links are allowed. This means links to business websites or any website with a primarily commercial objective unless the site is related to electronic cigarettes and is permissible according to other rules. Signatures with links to Unregistered Suppliers and/or sites of dubious quality/content/reputation are subject to removal. If excessive promotion is suspected, an infraction may also be given.
d. Signature images (graphics, gfx) must be 400 x 65px or less in dimension (this means the width cannot be greater than 400px and the height cannot be greater than 65px), and no more than 25kB in filesize. We advise a .gif or .jpg file.
e. Members who are permitted a linked sig graphic cannot also have text links unless there is a usergroup exception for their group.
f. Members may have a 'Stopped Smoking' graphic of standard size in addition to another graphic.
g. No links (including in signatures) are allowed to websites we proscribe, or to websites either for, or that feature prominently:
pharmaceuticals, porn, gambling, violence, loans, credit, political parties, religious views, information considered illegal in most countries.
h. A signature is a privilege, not a right, and can be withdrawn any time for any reason and without notice.

Oh snap! You have it figured out.....slight of hand anyone? Bwahahahaha!

Sorry, couldn't resist..... ;)

Seriously though, we are missing having that feature too. Lord, we really want the back refresh fixed!

Ok, I can take a joke :p but my question wasn't answered. Are the banners being attacked because only the techies can fix the back refresh. I'm assuming so, but I hate to assume anything. ;)
