First off, No I will probably never hit 100W or 150W but lets pretend I will I guess.

The price is prettttyyyyy much the same.

Main question here is.. Is their a quality decrease because these guys are trying to push another 50W out of the device?
Should I just go with the 100W version because it would be more reliable?

Are these both equally reliable?

Pretty much, If i'm spending the dime, Id rather spend it on the bigger version since it's almost the same price.

I saw the 150, I have seen a few vids of 100 button sticking.

Mine stuck once while I was dry firing a new coil build. Havent had it long. Its the 100+. Stuck once out of over 1000 presses. Its probably not a big deal.

I dont really see why youd need 150 unless you wanted to push the limits with 4+ coils. Even with 100 watts I could make some serious quad coils. If you want to spend a lot of time playing with coil builds for novelty than go for it. If you're just looking for pretty good functionality it seems like overkill. Hell I could be wrong, but, I built about ten builds already on my 100 and I feel like I dont need much over 50 watts. A build utilizing 150 watts will fly thru batteries.

I also wonder if it will affect longevity of the product. There is 150 watt devices using the same chip as the 100 watt devices. I mean, what makes it 150? Is it just a line of code? Its the same chip (yihi sx330 use in IPV3 and Sigelei100+). Dont quote me on the longevity stuff. Im just hypothesizing. But, they do use the same chip.

I settled on the Sigelei because I liked the reviews. The wrap covers those feminine looking chrome curves. Came with a free rubber cover when I ordered it.

When I was looking, I had almost decided on the 100, but then the B&M store showed both to me. As I recall (and I could be wrong) the main difference was the striped designs on the Black 100, the magnetic battery cover on the 150, vs screws on the 100, an extra 50 watts, and a price difference of about $10. I chose the 150, and I love it. I really don't vape much beyond 80-100 watts ever, and most of the time I'm in the 60-80W range. The magnetic battery cover was really what did it for me, I guess, and the minimal price difference. The 100 may have a magnetic battery cover at this time, I'm not sure, but those magnets sure make it convenient to change the batteries. Regardless, either one will be a great mod for you.

So we all don't really know for sure if the 100w is more reliable than the 150w?

I'm thinking the same way as astronomicals.. Is it the same chip and everything but with an extra line of code or whatever to make it push another 50W?
Kinda like overclocking a processor? I don't want anything "overclocked"..

But at the same time.. If the 150w is just as reliable as the 100w then of course I want the bigger version even though I probably won't exceed 50W to being with.

Bigger bang for the buck is all i'm looking for..
