Well then in that event, the magnet feature of the sigelei makes more sense. I don't really mind the screws but was hoping they had the pass through feature nailed down. From my read of it though, I think I like the ipv3 best. Still deciding. Not made of money so I need to watch my purchases. If I buy a box mod I want it to last a while and do anything I want. I like what others are saying about how the ipv3 will handle just about any build you throw at it. Let's me experiment more. Thanks for the reply HDMontana. :)

As far as actual performance, I really like the IPV3. No issues so far.

Size comparison with the IPV3, Sigelei 100w and HexOhm: IPV3, Sigelei 100w, HexOhm - Imgur

The IPV3 has an amazing built quality, more comfortable in the hand than Sigelei 100w IMO, The box feels solid and the lid close perfectly (although no magnets, again), the physical buttons are decent (cheap click-y, but still much better than Sigelei's) but the touch button doesn't work on the first batch 0_0.

It may be just the unit I got, but I'm using the Sigelei 100w for few days now as my main device, but the IPV3 died on me after 30 minutes of use.

Dang , just when i thought the Sig was the one with the best build quality .

Turned off and that's it, no vented batteries, smell or any signs of burn, just not turning on anymore :\

Don't know if the iPV III is 5 click to turn on but i have noticed with the iPV that if you don't click the five clicks at the same speed the thing won't turn on.

Had this happen a few times and i was convinced it was dead as well .

Having both the sigelei and the IPV3, in my opinion the IPV3 is much superior to the Sigelei. I wouldn't buy one from overseas, as I did that with the IPV2 preorder and then discovered that the overseas warranty was much more difficult than the US warranty. So this time I bought from Vapor-Tek USA and everything has been great so far.

The Sigelei 100 has worked pretty well, I've been using it since the first shipments began, about 3 weeks I believe. The IPV3 is of much better build quality, I like the button better on the IPV3. I expected to like the button on the Sigelei more as it looks like the buttons we use on custom box mods which is really solid. That's only appearance, as it's more of a very soft, short digital clicky throw than a shorter but similar to horn switch type throw and feel.

For instance, the sigelei if set on it's side with fire under it's own weight. The IPV3 feels much better in the hand which is a nice lil bonus, and it looks so much better, I switched over to it for a more formal business function because it's so sexy and classy with it's machined beveled edges.

Overall, for right now I will say that if this experience continues I'll be selling the Sigelei to put towards my hexohm v2 or another IPV3, because I just don't see a reason to keep it with me liking the IPV3 so much better.

I didn't consider the added power of the IPV3 or upgradeable firmware in the IPV3 for this brief comparison review. I think both would be big pros, but the average vaper doesn't need more power than stock and I wanted to review it out of the box, because most people don't need to update the firmware.

For the record, as an IPV2 owner with problems I wasn't planning to lean in this direction, but the build quality improvement is drastic, and P4U addressed more user feedback I've ever seen in such a short period of time and most of the complaints from IPV2 users after launch were fixed and addressed with the IPV3, it really looks like someone at the manufacturer took the IPV2, used it, shook it, pressed it, vaped it, and said "what would make it better" and then read the forum threads. That's a big deal, and the improvements and fixes helped in my finding so many pros with it.

The sigelei magnets are nice, but I had one pull out, I'm not sure when it happened because it stuck to the battery cover and wasn't immediately noticable, but I didn't lose mine or it would be a bigger problem. I see this being an issue in a few weeks when many more start showing up.

Don't want to finally buy an IPV3, to find out the IPV3-S is being released a week or 2 later. I agree with hammerJag, I'm in his boat

Just the nature of the game. There will always be something new coming out. I have no complaints with the performance of the ipv3. As long as you understand what you are buying it is all good.

Where did you get your cord? What kind and brand is it? And where did you get tour IPV3 while.we're at it, lol. I wanna get one from the best batches.. Thanks, looks good there!! I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get the IPV - I was.gonna wait to see if they would start selling the charger cable, or make any other small updates/fixes.. but I might just finally snag 1
:D
But now my next debacle...
....... Silver, or Black?? I'm thinking silver, will match my atty's n tanks, and hopefully won't scratch as easy or won't show them
them; as much as black would.

If you bought both from eciggity that would make the iPV III a $160.00 mod . Definitely adds up . Most vendors are charging top dollar due to their popularity .

Wholesale is about $60.00 based on order quantity , according to a few people who order from P4U .

The iPV 35 watt can be found for around $60.00 at some places , thats a great deal imo .

Just got an IPV3 for about $97 shipped!! From eciggity with the black Friday sale (and $200 worth of other gear).
.... was gonna get the Sig Plus but changed my mind last second, hopefully I don't regret it because I liked the way the Sig.looked better!
:p
The charger for it was out of stock unfortunately. Will a different charger work, or is it not recommended to even charge internally?
