Sigelei 100w Plus Concerns/Problems

I guess I left out some relevant information, Nautilus has discontinued the .5 ohm coils, i'm 99% sure about this as i've been told that by vendors directly (I called because the .5 coils were out of stock, and thats what they said, appeared it was like that across the board, but i could be wrong) I am using .3 ohm coils.

First the nautilus never had subΩ coils, those are for the AtlantisV1/2
Second, why would they discontinue .5Ω coils when they are among the most popular heads people are using
Third, find a new vendor, they obviously have no clue what they're talking about

if your type of mod has been cloned, you can find it on Fasttech... Ive never seen a clone of the Sig 100W on Fasttech.

I've never used fasttech, but i just went to fasttech as u said if it's been cloned u could find it, I definetely see 100w sigeleis on fasttech, so i'm not really sure what ur saying, can you explain better, would it read as a sigelei clone, or just be listed as a "authentic" sigelei.

Sorry I said nautilus instead of Aspire and/or Atlantis, Typo.

I called Aspire, they are discontinuing the .5 ohm heads, so after X amount of time, u are indeed buying knockoff heads depending on when ur vendor runs out of stock.

Aspire hasn't discontinued .5 replacement heads for the Atlantis.
Are you properly priming new/unused heads before pressing the fire button?
If not you're probably scorching the wicking material which will reduce wicking ability. Reduced wicking ability effects flavor too.
Always start off a new head at a low power and work your way up to prevent scorching / burning.

Are you using authentic Aspire replacement heads verified via scratch off security code on the box entered into the verification area of their site?
Knock off / counterfeit heads are as common as authentic.

75w on a .3 head is going to be fairly hot and could be too hot for the flavorings in your juice.

I'd suggest priming a new head and start off around 20w and adjust power up taking a vape or three on each setting until you find what you like.
Don't get hung up on the numbers it's all about what tastes best to each individual.

Ya, I just assumed bc my heads were coming w/ the scratch code on the back that they were original, i never checked to be honest, but I just did, and they are indeed authentic, so Probably I just need to take some time to prime it, i'll check this out, thanks =)

Ummm, just for the record here, I'm currently vaping on .3ohm nickel coils in my Nautilus. And yes, they were produced by Aspire.

I tried the recommendation of setting my Sigelei to 20W and working my way up, @ 20-40W the sigelei with the Atlantis mega produces extremely little actual vapor, I don't know if it's supposed to be like this, I thought at first it was from the extreme airflow from the Atlantis, but I closed the extra air flow hole in the top and tried all the different air intakes on the bottom of the tank, still very poor results, so if I have to vape w/ this little amount of vapor for proper taste in juice, is it even worth?

Once again, maybe i'm doing something wrong, maybe I havent found the proper settings, but overall I'm pretty disappointed in the Sigelei 100w plus in general, which I realize is a very highly reguarded mod ATM, so any ideas, what i'm doing wrong?

First, what PG/VG mixture are you using? For subohm tanks you generally want a high percent of VG and very little PG. Usually around 80%VG is a good starting point for a subohm tank.

Second, what nic level is your juice. For Subohming generally 3-6mg is recommended. Any more than that can cause harsh hits and mess up the flavor.

Ya, thats probably it, I'm using 50/50 from Mt Baker with 24mg.

I knew this was going to probably cause a problem, and I already ordered some new juice (unfortunately) i knew i'd have to take it down from 24mg, I would consider myself a very highly nicotine dependent person, I went from smoking 2 packs a day, when I got my provari, smoking 24mg I never smoked again, It fulfilled my needs and I liked it better. Do you think i'd be ok with anything higher than 6mg, or does it just not really work w/ subohm tanks.

You won't need anything higher than 6. As a pack+ per day smoker of 30 years I can assure you of that. Once you get the subohm tank working right the amount of vapor you're going to get in each puff is going to easily be 4-5 times more than you're used to. Remember, while the liquid may be weaker the amount of vapor you'll be getting is several times larger. It will easily make up the difference.

A lot of people find they get nic-sick on 6mg and have to lower to 3mg juice when subohming.

You can go with as much as you want, but most people will say not to go much above 6mg. If nothing else, you can order 2 or 3 bottles of 0mg juice in that same flavor and cut yours down to the level you are comfy with.

No problem. Get an 80VG/20PG juice at 6mg and you should be set.

One more thing. Order big bottles. You'll go through a LOT more juice subohming. Easily 2-3 times more than you're used to.

I alternate between subohming and using my Nautilus each day. Most of the time I use my Nautilus but I still go through 5-7ml per day of juice in the subohm tanks.

The coils are produced by Aspire under contract with Vaporshark. Aspire is the manufacturer and they are distributed through VaporShark.

Quick question on the 100w plus. I can't seem to flip the display to left hand (lock the mod, then press fire and plus buttons for 5 seconds) Is this a sign of a fake, or am I missing something?
