Hey there, new to the forums and just had a couple of questions.
So i finally decided to get myself a decent mod, the sigelei 150w, I ordered from Vaperoyalty as they had the Oni edition and the price seemed reasonable. My question is, does anybody know if this is a clone or is it only the mech mods they had clones of?
I have searched about for sigelei clones but couldn't find anything so i'm presuming there aren't any?
Also, it does say on there website that it comes with an asmodus warranty card so I'm guessing it's legit, they seemed like a decent bunch to order from anyway!

I also wanted to know what rda's you use and if you could recommend any to me as it's something I'm going to try out, just seems a lot more fun!

Many thanks!

As far as I'm aware, there are no clones of the Sigelei 150W. The Oni edition was just a limited run they were doing with the neat engravings/colors (looks sweet).

I can't say 100%, but I'm 99.999% sure you have an authentic device. You can check the authenticity card, which should guarantee that your device is authentic through their online checker thing.

I doubt it's a clone...I haven't seen any yet, but I guess they might be out there. as far as the RDA, I use a 30 mm magma for flavor and a Doge for clouds.

I love my Sigeli 150...what are you running on it now?

I should of mentioned I don't actually have it yet, just a few more days and it will be here!
I've just been using an mvp 20w with a subtank mini, but since trying out a few sigelei's I decided i wanted one myself and wanted to drip.
Have been looking at the mutation x v3 and v4, but like yourself I want a few RDA'S for flavor and clouds.

Thanks to all for clearing any worries I had!

As far as your RDA goes, Give the Mutation x v4 a shot. its got a ton of airflow for clouds, and you can turn it down for great flavor. 4 post makes it alot easier to build on as well.

Have been looking at the Darkhorse also, wouldn't mind giving it a try, I just don't want lots of leakage but your bound to get some on most RDA's right?
It doesnt leak if you wick properly and dont overjuice. Small drip well but huge post holes huge screws and awesome airflow. Id say go for it :)

It can, but you want to close the side ones completely first, then slowly close the bottom ones to your liking, otherwise the air won't be cooling your coils as you pull it through. then you burn cotton... No body likes that lol
So its either bottom and side airflow or bottom airflow only. That can get leaky unless you paint your wicks instead of drip.

As far as the Dark Horse is concerned, don't touch it. There are other RDAs that do flavor and clouds. The only way to get half decent flavor from a Dark Horse is to flip the AFC ring and run a single coil. Even then its still lacking.

Could you recommend any?

Of course I can! I own a Tobeco Tobh, an Indulgence Mutation X V3, and a Tobeco Dark Horse. The DH is definitely a leaky, cloud chasing RDA but it does get a golden star for the ridiculously awesome wide bore drip tip. The Tobh and MXV3 have completely adjustable airflow, from completely closed to wide open.

The RDA thats on my list is the Aeolus. The airflow is on the top so the only way it will leak is if you tip it upside down. The authentic is pricey, though, but most clones I've seen don't have adjustable airflow like the authentic does. There's also the Derringer, which is stupid tiny but also has fully adjustable airflow. Annnnd... There's the Tugboat V2, also fully adjustable. If the Tugboat V2 is too expensive then check out the Steamboat (Tugboat V2 clone).

Obviously, any RDA that has adjustable airflow will be your best bet. Less airflow - more flavor, more airflow - bigger vapor production. You can get something like a Doge V2 or a MXV2/3, close up the airflow, and get some damn good flavor. And when the moment calls for it, open it up and blind yourself with fog.

The mutation x v4 is bottom and side, side only, bottom only. It comes with rubber plugs that slide into the bottom airflow slots so you can use only the sides.
I have a dark horse, it's great but the chuff style cap is too wide bore on the outter rim for my liking. And if you're building complexly, there's limited space due to the AFC, which is prone to being covered in juice all the time. There also really isn't much of a juice well. The way you get flavor on the dark horse is by popping out the chuff cap and putting in the 510 drip tip piece. The Mxv3, Mxv4, & Dark Horse all have adapters for standard drip tips.
Also the doge v2 & mutation x v3 are great for chucking clouds (as mentioned above), but personally closing off the airflow for flavor is easier on the mutations. The doge is honestly just for throwing huge clouds. However the extra no spin center pin is a very nice feature, and the post holes are absurdly large.
As per the Aeolus, I can't comment on it because I don't have one and haven't tried one.

My dark horse is too far away for me to reach right now so here are some pics:

Mx3, Dogve v2, Mx4

that's the Mx4 deck, if you look at the bottom AFC, you can see the rubber stopper in place. iPhone 5 camera kinda sucks.
image.jpg
That's the Mx3 build deck, super deep juice well. The v4 goes down as deep but the bottom AFC forces it to be smaller in capacity but it still holds a good amount of juice
image.jpg
that's the Dogev2 on my sig 100w with a dual fused clapton at .2 ohms. This thing changes the atmospheric pressure of a room with about 3-4 hits at 70w. If you have any q's send me a message
