Sigelei Help

New Member, but have been reading the forum for 2 months and have learned alot. Need some help and/or direction. Day 64 of being cigarette free and I started out vaping by purchasing an Ego T kit, and then moved on to a sigelei, because I didn't have the money for a provari and saw and heard good things about this mod. Have had it for about a month now and it was working great, no issues. Had a boge XL carto on there this evening and all of a sudden, the device won't fire. I checked the resistance and it showed 9.9 ohms. Figured the head went bad, put back on my fairly new vivi nova and it's the same thing..won't fire, showing 9.9 ohms.

Has anyone had this happen and were you able to fix it? I changed the battery to see if there could be something with one of them, but that did not fix anything.

I switch off and on with vivi tank, carts, and clearomizers. As it's been mentioned, the clearomizers do at times leak a little in the battery well, but that's not what was on the device when it stopped working.

ECF, any thoughts? Thank you!

Yeah, I have tried the vivi and clearomizer. Put them back on my ego battery and they all work fine, including the carto that was on there when the problem started. As for the pin on the device, it seems to be where it always was, but does have some play. Do you have any suggestions on a good way to attempt to pull up the pin? The thing is, this is under the manufacturer warranty, so I don't want to do anything that would cause someone to think it was intentionally messed with and attempt to void my claim.

Yup the same thing happened to me. Just be careful with the center pin. In the future try to be really careful not to over tighten attys and cartos.

To pull the post I use a pair of tweezers.
Hi Buckeye

You may have pushed the centre pin down when screwing on the carto, so now nothing is connecting. Fixing this would involve gently pulling up the centre pin a bit.

9.9ohms is a no connection reading. I know you tried a vivi nova, but have you tried some other cartomizers on it?

I've used a pair of tweezers and to gently prise up a centre pin. If you are still under warranty you could contact the vendor though and ask about replacement.
