I will never buy a product from Sigelei again. 2/3 of my devices from them are junk. I really wanted to like the Zmax, but on two of them the screens were crooked, and one of those was also cracked. The cracked one was returned, and I got the only good one I have ever had. The next one I got was also crooked, but not too bad so I used it for a few weeks before it died. The latest dead one was made after the chinese new year, so it isn't even that old. There is no excuse for such poor quality, regardless of price.

So if you want to continue spending $30 - $60 for PV's that have such shoddy QC, go ahead. You get what you pay for, and I refuse to pay for their products ever again.

Yea, the way the button on the #13 works is when you press the button it completes the circuit between the spring and the neg post instead of grounding the post to the body. But this is the one you can change around to make it a top button and I am not really digging the way it works. It is kind of hard to get it to fire.

I torched mine #8 today. turned out pretty good. Only problem is now my locking ring is stuck. thats not a big deal. I started sanding the top cap and it looks rough. I just can not bring myself to touch the bottom cap. It just looks so beautiful the way it is. The torched finish on the tubes seem to have gotten darker since I have been using it. I really like it. I am thinking about putting some clear coat on it.

Anyone come up with a simple way to get rid of the hot spring on the s8? The spring does get hot so its definitely lowering the voltage.
I was thinking finding a brass nut and screw that u can jam the nut into the negative post and end up with an adjustable screws for slightly different battery lengths.
Any ideas ?

Wrong place to complain about electronics issues. This thread is about Mechanical Mods.
I understand the Chipset/board is supposed to be available for repairs. It is common in several mods.
