Waiting for my #19 is killing me hahaha

I know the feeling! If I had any patience at all I'd be happy with my Vamo until my #19 got here. Instead I immediately ordered my #8 from Hoosier just so I could have one in my hands to play with while I wait! Poor Vamo....

My vamo was my first AVP and I have no regrets! I pulsed my first kanthal coil with it, have puffed everything from cheap 2.8 ohm clearos to a 1.5 ohm coil on one of my AGA-T2s! I seriously believe it has no competition anywhere even close to that price point. That said the "new" hasn't worn off my #8 yet and I'm loving it :D

I sold all my vv and vw mods a while ago. Hard to go back to the non sub ohm world of vaping. For me at least. Im currently trying to collect all of the segelei mechanical mods that arent inspired by a mans "junk"

Only vv/vw mod ill consider is a dna20 and im sure we will see a ton of them this year. Dual 18650 would be nice with a 20w ceiling.

Just sold my eVic. Now I'm debating if its worth spending money on the Nimbus or just buy a few igo's.

For me it came down to how many juices I switch between (a LOT). One $75 Nimbus or five IGO-Ls, for the same price? More drippers means more I can *dedicate* more to different flavors.

Thanks for the info guys ! I'll pick one up tomorrow so my buddy can redrill the hole a lil bigger. Then i might just order 2 more online since its way cheaper. This will also be my first time learning to wrap my own RDA.

OK... I think I get it now.

My new S8, modded to make as much brass on brass contact as possible... A brand new AGA-T2 with the air hole punched out from 1mm to 1.5mm. New wick of 2" of 500 "ultra-fine" stainless steel mesh (rolled solid, very tight), 5/6 wrap of 28 gauge kanthal A1. My vamo says the battery is at 4 volts and the atty at 1.1 ohms... 14.5 watts! I had to cut my MBV 24mg "Whiteout" juice with 50% VG to help keep my head from spinning. WOW! What a vape! Way more throat hit than the same juice without the extra VG in a 2.4 ohm dripper on my vamo, and HUGE clouds of vapor... And no burnt taste! I won't be chain vaping this one. I'd better be sitting down for any more than three big puffs in a row or I'll wish I had been. I reach for it like I want to chain vape but just giggle a bit and put it back down.

Tomorrow I'm going to recoil a couple of my drippers for sub-ohm and see what that's like. :D

That 24mg nic strength would end me. I vape 6mg at .6-.7 ohm and I get buzzed fairly quick when chain vaping.

Yah, it DID end me, or threaten to! I buy 24mg for my wife, usually tame it down to around 16-18mg for me with extra VG. I had to cut it in HALF with VG to fully enjoy my #8... that's about 12mg :)

#8. Measured the screw to fit perfectly with my choice of 18650 and 18350 batteries.used the spring only to stabilize the screw without any permanent modification. Screw touches bottom of the negstive post cup. Brass on brass contact. takes care of the voltage drop caused by the spring.

Is your button body and contact also brass or steel?

No parts on my 13 is brass
