Thanks for the info! I actually looked back a good few pages and saw this, but there was no specific explanation of how they got the washer on there? Does the bottom portion of the firing pin come off somehow so I can then put a washer on, THEN theoretically put the bottom of the firing pin back on?

This is not my picture but hope it helps.

I am having the worst time finding a sigelei in stock anywhere. I am sure that everybody who frequents this thread is well-aware that nobody has them in stock, but it is driving my crazy. My wife broke one of our main vaping units, a flimsy Lavatube, and so we need to replace it asap. I was looking around for a deal on something new and I want a #8 or #19 badly but they seem impossible to get ahold of, short of ordering 100 directly from China. I need to buy something soon to replace her unit, but I would really rather buy a nice sturdy, cheap mech mod for myself and give her my lavatube rather than drop more money on another VV mod that will be guaranteed to break in a few months, but I'm not sure I can just wait for a few weeks until something pops up...

I eventually have a 19 coming and want to make a low profile top cap.

Does anyone know what the thread specs are for the top cap?

Also how true is the diameter?

I will finish the diameter to match once I receive it, mainly just curious. Most of the 22mm attys look pretty close on it.

It's a shame they don't make different options for the top cap because you can really trim some length off a mod eliminating the well.

CCTS slimmed down (sorry for the mess)

vaportekusa and discountvapers both have some sigelei in stock, exhalevapors will soon.

I don't see how it could be a 9/19.

The top cap went from male to female threads, so for me that screws a custom flat top or hybrid atty base....it could be done but I don't think it would look as good or be nearly as easy.

Then there is the bottom...I hope they just put up the wrong pic, because it looks like a 9

Some more news on the Sigelei pre-orders from Exhalevapors:

I have 100 #19 units enroute as well as the #13. These were all I can get (tracking expected tonight). They are on a first purchased, first served basis. Easiest way to know if you are part of this batch? IF you purchased ON 4/17 AND IF your product code is 7319, you are 99.9 percent likely to be on this list. #13 should have complete fulfillment. If you want a refund, as always, please submit a ticket through our support system @ exhalevapors.kayako.com. The second wave is expected to ship next week, so please request refunds if you have a better alternative, or do not wish to wait. We apologize for these delays.

So excited! Just need to figure out what I should buy to go on top of it... my third AGA-T2? A new dripper? Hmmm...

On another note, has anyone seen a #27 in the flesh?

I've not heard much talk about it, but they look pretty much like the #8 which seems like one of the most popular. Anyone know why?

-Edit: sorry, ignore me. I just noticed the bottom piece is textured or knurled. I guess that's it - Westerners seem to have a more minimalist taste in these things than the Chinese I think.

I was able to hold onto the contact pin with some needle pliers and twist the button head off by hand.
