Ok, I got you now lol. I measured my iSeason with a 1.3 ohm coil the same way as in gdeals pic with the neg at the bottom of the mod and the pos at the pos post of the rba and got 3.5v and when I did it with the neg at the neg post on the rba and the pos the same as before I got 3.4v. This is on a 3.95v battery with no load. So there is a little of a variance by doing it one way or the other.

I rechecked underload and measured from the negative post on the atty. The drop is now .36v. This looks more inline with reality. Initially, I couldn't get a steady read from touching the atty negative screw. This time I used a tight alligator clip. So no miracle mod here. :(

So from that Atmazoo link, the change is based upon added device resistance vs lack of device resistance. Thanks for that education Lhartman89. Good info..it put everything into perspective!

#19 out for delivery!:headbang:

What do you guys think of using a brass shim in the button assembly instead of the NR wire? I found these at McMaster Carr. McMaster-Carr. Just not sure what size though till I get it in my hands.

I am going to get a piece of copper sheet from HD and make a ring to fit on the delrin and another to fit the opposite side of the spring, also gonna look for a hot spring.

That way its just brass to copper to body

Those are the modification that I've done on my NR:19. I hope you can tell from the pictures what I have modded on it.
It's pretty simple, I have removed the magnets and replaced them with brass screws.

Also a little advice from my side: Its easier to remove the magnets if you heat it up with a Jet flame lighter.

Does anybody know if the threaded hole under the magnet or did you drill and tap it out yourself :)

So, my #19 button is always coming unscrewed on it's own. I've tightened it down with pliers and that keeps it together, but then it's quite difficult to get undone. Anyone got a better solution?

Could you fit a piece of dental floss or something in there to sorta bind it without damage?

The point of the fix isn't to connect current down to the button. You already have that. The button is connected directly to the brass switch. The point of the fix is to add the battery tube directly into the circuit. That is why the wire is used; because it travels laterally to the tube. If you use a brass or copper shim, it needs to touch the side of the mod in order for it to be effective. The problem with misfires is because the button will sometimes "float" without making contact with the housing (and thus the tube). If the spring is tied in to the tube via a conductor (piece of wire), then you won't ever get misfires. If the shim you place over the Delrin doesn't make contact with the tube and only the spring, it won't fix the occasional misfires.

19 Just came in today. Pretty freakin sweet for 28 bucks. Magnets need to go. Other that that and the button being a little firm, I love it. Magnets dont need to go really, but I think there is a bit of vdrop that could be fixed there. The thing works great out of the box though. THAT WOULD BE A FIRST FOR ME AND SEGELEI. I finally have something from china worth a polish job.

    Got a new #19 today :)

Strange one as this one come with the Sig logo on the main tube, never had that on the first one I got.

Also noticed that the button was very hard to take to bits, ended up having the take a cutting disc to the bottom magnet and cut a slot on it so I could get a screwdriver on it.

I received my #19 yesterday. It also has a small Sigelei on the tube (not for long). Both of my magnets removed clean rather easily. I heated the button switch with a torch to soften any adhesive and pulled it right out with pliers. Going to tap a brass bolt inside.
