That button is almost 1/2"diameter, I think it would be hard to fit. What would be cool is getting a hold of the switch used in the orion v2.1

Okay that was funny. I thought at first that was your original cap but I see you machined a completely new cap.

And also I was thinking of maybe adding this switch to my #20 (I know, I cant leave well enough alone).

What do you folks think. I think I can make it work with a little more modding.

Yes, 12mm. I was thinking I would have to drill out the hole a little for it to fit. I was mainly hoping it would not stick out like crazy from the side/front. The mod is round and that is for a flat panel so I would need to come up with something.

I am use to doing what Todd does and I don't like it....Listening to my mod to see if its firing. I am thinking this #20 will be my lawn work mod and mowing and listening wont work too well. :p Thus the reason to mod the switch again.

If it makes you feel any better I am left to assume I'm the .1% of the claimed 99.9% of those who ordered on 4/17 with code 7319 from exhale that have not received shipping info. I say assume as I have sent a couple emails asking for a status update and received no response. Fun stuff

I ordered mine on 4/18 code 7319.1 I'm still waiting to rear when i will recieve my #19. its going to be a month, All this waiting.

Your not alone. Everyone will be chatting away about whatever sigelei comes out with next when mine comes in.

Maybe I missed an earlier post but where did you get that cap?! Me want.

lol....I made it.

But I have a feeling Todd will soon be reviling someone manufacturing something similar.

I haven't even really used the 19, but I'm really liking the 20 and the top button and not so sure about the 19 bottom button.

Same here, no update or shipping confirmation. This is the first and last time I'll pre-order a Sigelei and possibly from Exhale (Their website says that the 19's will be shipped after the 14th, I'm still waiting for an answer to my email). We could have got a #19 for only ~$2 more and had it before we recieve the ones we pre-ordered a month ago and nobody would have been holding our $ for a month. I'm not bashing anyone, just stating the facts.

So I've messed with the 19 a bit that I got in the mail today. Removed the top magnet, it was super easy after heating up the magnet with a torch (thanks to whoever posted that tip here). Then I added an O ring to the button assembly. The throw is way better now. I am still getting a lot of misfires and this stock button spring is awful! I don't have any NR wire to try the NR wire trick that people have been talking about. Has anyone tried torching their spring or cutting a coil off? I am considering doing one or both but I don't want to screw up the only spring I have.
Also one other thing. What is going on with the switch getting hot? That doesn't seem good at all. It isn't happening too often, but often enough to worry me.

Just wanted to post quick and say I fixed the mis-fire, burny, shocky thing going on with the #19. I took it in to my local hardware store and searched their selection of compression springs. I found one that looks pretty much exactly like the factory one but it's maybe one third longer. I used needle nose pliers to expand the last few rings of the spring to a larger size, so it would *just* fit inside the locking ring. That's it! No more burny, shocky, misfire thing. Hits kinda nice (finally).

Exactly, pretty bad how this has been done. It took multiple emails and submitting a ticket on their support site just to get a response to tell me that my order on 4/17 was DEFINITELY part of the second batch. Not sure how I ended up in the second batch ordering on the same day as people in the first batch. Seeing other sites sell them for the same amount and in stock is frustrating as well. So is the story of "fixes" that don't seem to exist. Good thing I like modding as it seems the 19 & 20 both suck out of the box.

A message to any and all vendors: communication goes a long way. 30 bucks is not a big deal to me but feeling like an unappreciated customer is. Also, dont direct people to like you on your Facebook page for updates - some of us intentionally avoid that place like the plague. You have your own website for updates, I'm sure of it, i gave you money there. You also have my email address to send me updates. If you need an example of awesome customer handling look no further than Perseas from VapourArt maker of the awesome GP line.

Anyways, apologies... rant off

They had said on their facebook page that anyone who ordered on or before 4/17 AND had code 7319 would get theirs soon. I think they got all of the first round orders shipped. I am in the second batch of 7319.1 but I also ordered on 4/17 and am still waiting on an update. They made it sound like the second batch should be in their hands next week I guess.

This is another update on their facebook page. I have noticed that they really only like using facebook to post updates instead of just emailing everyone.

4. Waiting on Sigelei to ship #19, was informed that all but factory personnel are traveling, so I have not made direct contact. Cannot attest to other vendors' salespeople.

I purchased a #19 today, 1 volt drop under load... Im going to do some modifications to the contacts. I removed the magnet from the top cap, and it exposed the brass screw. I simply sanded the delrin down so i have options if i want to run flat tops or nipple tops. That decreased the drop to .6 under load. I havent had much luck getting the bottom magnet out, so im going to replace it with a shorter brass screw, then cut the spring to shorten the throw. The button design is pretty nice on this thing.
