Yes

It is brushing on the post, but with as much slop is in there I'm relying on both.

So I've sanded down to brass on the bottom and top cap, along with the post. Sanded and polished the body as well. My #8 is beautiful! Removed the spring. (Non mod modded spring removal) All via tips this thread. I'm running into a hot button problem though and I don't know why. It's a .4 ohm dual coil setup with 26 gauge on a smoktech rda with an AW 18650. Threw the setup in my buddies smok telescope, no problem. Thoughts?

Any idea if the 13B's spring has been fixed when the switch is put at the top of the mod?

this is my test run on improving the switch. I used some 1/2"x6"x0.016" brass strips from lowes and rough cut them to shape. Coarse cut and hammered in the piece between the delrin and lock ring to ensure good connection to the body and the other plate is secured on the threaded post to the SS button.

The circuit runs through the brass post/ brass plate/ spring/ brass plate/ body.

Voltage drop with same battery(pan 18650 4.1v) and coil(0.6ohm) went from 0.5-0.6v to 0.4-0.2v. Voltage varies because of the magnet making partial contact unless straight.

Gonna tap a brass screw in the post and use a washer magnet to help with the compression resistance.

Someone find some good beryllium springs pls

Here's my #19, I removed the switch magnet and used a tap and dye and a m4 brass bolt, so now I can adjust the throw of the switch with the turn of screw

Looks good whit77. I think I will do that to mine right away when it arrives. You might add a small spring to that new m4 bolt to keep pressure, to prevent it from turning on its own. Kinda like the fuel mixture screw on a carb.

I'm scared to try and drill a hole for a brass bolt in the button assembly of my #19 but that's the next mountain to climb (and getting rid of that gap!) Top is replaced with a longer brass screw, improved spring so it contacts the inside of the lock ring all the time, o-ring on negative post to shorten the throw. It's hitting pretty good, no more misfires, etc. but I still think my #8 is the one I would pick if I had to choose.

I'll state here something that's already been said numerous times, in this thread as well as others... Super Low Resistance vaping DOES produce a TON of vapor and I too found myself going from 24mg juice, in 2.0+ ohm devices, to 12mg and even 9mg by cutting my juice in half with extra VG. Just my but if you are looking at setting up an atty for 1.2 ohm or lower you might want to have some straight VG (or PG) on hand
