This one works great. The only change to the stock switch is removal of the magnet and an addition of a wire. The spring is still stiff, so that would be an optional change out if you like a feathery touch, but the button travel distance is now only a mm or two. With this fix and removal of the top magnet and a new brass bolt postive pin with oring, I now get a .32v drop on a .7ohm coil on an RSST.

All credit for this fix goes to Studiovap. (Master Modder). After I did his fix, I decided to re-do and take a few pics to share them, it works that well.

Using a braided copper 16g wire. Formed an oversized loop that fits a very convenient existing gap between the plastic insulator and primary switch ring:

With the locking ring in place and fully screwed on, the wire should be secured (change wire gauge if needed):

Removed the locking ring for a bit of extra work room and with the brass pole in place, twist wire up and wrap around the pole threads:

Replace locking ring:

Insert spring:

When you screw the button onto the brass pole, it will compress and secure the wire at the brass pole thread. This also gives the brass pole extra height to offset the removal of the magnet.

Switch in normal resting position:

Switch in fully compressed pulse position:

Thanks for saving my time in taking the the pics gdeal, I'm really busy at the moment and only had time to post the method on AV forum. Works a treat eh? :)

Hey #19 owners, what kind of screw did you find for the center pin? I've gone everywhere in town that sells brass screws and bolts and they all look at me like I'm the stupidest man alive for even wasting their time. One guy even told me these screws can only be bought in China, and are not exported. Dude said I need a plane ticket to get one.

I have a feeling he might be ... wrong.

Based on a couple of the description pics it looks like the V2 is bare brass on the inside of the bottom cap and comes with a 510 to Ego adaptor. I always liked the look of the #20. How is the switch holding up for you guys that have a #20? Sigelei Mech Mod 20 v2

RichManVapors.com has the 19 & 20v2 in stock.

3 weeks here on my #20 v1. Only change was add a good hot spring in bottom & no problems, or miss fire here. Very solid mod, good weight.

While researching this specific mod, I just ran across this same pic on Google images and it certainly does look a bit questionable. If that spring gets jammed in the contact position it will certainly fry something. Anything you guys can input to dispel this belief would be appreciated as I really would like to get this mod.

Thing is that spring in the pin has been stretched, its actually wound tight, this is actual spring in its natural state
