ok I have been looking at these two mods as I am looking at getting another mod (currently Vamo V5).
what is the difference other than cost between these two? the sigelei and the smok

hopefully the vast knowlage base of this forum can explain the difference to me.

thanks in advance

BTW is there any mod mech or regulated that has replaceable 510 connectors?

one year and two months on vapor!

Not sure about the pricing anymore, been awhile since I looked. But Sigelei has a better reputation for its build quality, and at one time was priced lower, a win win for the Sigelei owners.

I am a little leery of SmokTech's APV's, the Sig version of the Zmax has a better reputation, and the SmokTech version of the VV ego seems to have more problems than either the Joyetech Twist or the Vision Spinner.

All devices are going to have fans and detractors, this post was not meant to start a flame war, simply stating an observation.

Have had my Sigelei V5 for about 3 weeks now, works perfect & does seem to taste better than when using my ego twist. Only complaint is the Battery tube, using an 18650 & when tight the end tube still rocks a bit on the threads, not as solid as i would like. I do plan on getting a Provari in the new year though just for backup.

There are quite a few differences between Sigelei and Smok Zmaxs. The Sigelei features heavier and stronger build quality. Sigelei Zmax V3, V5 and Legend offer additional features not found on the Smok Zmax. You can read a lot of posts about the Sigelei Zmax V3 here with some info about V5. For a quick but useful read of this long, long thread I recommend reading the first 10 pages or so and all posts made since mid-November.
