sigelei zmax v3 vs vamo

which is better, the sigelei zmax v3 or the vamo?

if the zmax, how is the mini compared to the non-mini?

I have the Sig Zmax V2 and the Vamo, like them both, but if I were to only have one it would be the Zmax. The V3 is the the telescope, here is a link to Exhale they have both. could you explain why you prefer it over the vamo?

Zmax is lighter and smaller, not by much, but enough that I like the way it feels. My Vamo needs an 510/ego adapter to run some Kanger clearos, the Zmax doesn't. I like the one button menu.

The newer Vamo's are able to run the Kangers, they all have the threading, but the older verison had a narrower well which wouldn't allow Kanger ego threaded clearos to fit into the well. Vamo can be used in shorty mode, and not everyone likes the one button menus.

Vamo is also the best bang for the buck right now. Personal preference is a subjective thing, you may prefer the Vamo.

Edit, I wish the had the Zmax V3 when I ordered, I would have gotten it. Telescopes so it can fit 18350 through 18650, including 18490/18500.

I ordered a ZMAX v2 in a partial kit this morning. To me the vamo is just ugly, I much prefer the aesthetics of the ZMAX so I went for it. I generally only use 18650s so the v3 telescoping was not necessary for me although it looks very nice also!

I got the Vamo and the ZMAX V3. And although they both have problem from the vendor (VAMO has crooked 510 connector and ZMAX has crooked screen), they both work well.

I prefer the ZMAX because I think it looks better, and seems to be a sturdier build. To me the VAMO feels like what you would expect for the price. It's still a great mod though.
