i purchased a sigelei zmax v5 in may. great mod. it slipped out of my shirt pocket and landed directly on the lens on gravel cracking it. i peeled out the cracked lens and the screen is still flawless mod fully functioning. i am unable to find the lens anywhere online. closest i can find is a v3 lens and button for 1.99 from hoosierecigs. i hate to send it back to mvs for a refurb and sigelei themselves are no help. any ideas?

My best understanding is the lens must be inserted from the inside which means the top cap is needed to be removed and it is cemented on. Then find a way to get it in the space to press it upward. I could be mistaken, it may be inserted from the outside but risk pressing too far in and damage the LED. BTW these lenses NEVER sit flush and are notorious for cracking.....trust me I have several:lol:

All the lenses are the same for all Zmax at Hoosier, same for the button. So it will work in your case.

pana i think your talking about the v3. the lens on the v5 is different than the one showed on hoosier

ah yes I stand corrected, my error....sorry! But I think the v3 and v5 are the same lens anyway, just not the clear one for a Smok Zmax as Hoosier has..........carry on"

yea your right that must be the smoktech lens then cause the v3 lens looks the same. damn what a pain. i've got it covered with scotch tape till i can remedy this

I honestly don't think you can remedy this, not by a replacement lens offered in a shop or online. That said if you are crafty and can find a v5 that is trashed then remove the lens and place it on your v5.
