I've had my sigelei for 4 days now I really like it and haven't had any problems all though it does seem to get pretty warm while using it, has anyone else experienced this? I've been a long time silver bullet user and that never gets warm. this is my first vv/vw device not sure if this is normal or not any help is appreciated

Oh and I'm using panasonic 18650 batteries

I don't think it is normal . Is it hot from being in your hand all the time ? Are you using a genesis style atty on it? I ask because mine gets a little warm when chain vaping a genny but I think it is just acting as a heatsink . I use the Panasonics sometime too. Did you purchase from a vendor? If so and the above items I mentioned aren't the problem, I think I'd seek a replacement.

It's not warm from being in my hand, it's warmer than that. I'm using a phoenix rba right now that I just got today which is awesome by the way. I chain vape quite a bit I was wondering if it was transfering heat from the atomizer too it does it with atomizers and cartos too though so I don't know more worried about the electronics failing than anything else I don't have any 18350 bats but don't really like stacking anyway it gets hotter with the short battery cap on it than with the long one on

Maybe it is normal browner. I haven't experienced that yet. I have only had it about 5 days though. I wasn't a big fan of stacking batts before using this pv either but if you check voltage and rotate which goes in the tube first each time, it should be no problem. I don't blame you at all for trying to keep the risk of battery failure to a minimum. BTW, I use the longer cap for all battery configurations with no issues.

I don't know if it makes a difference or not but to satisfy a curiosity, do you have it set to RMS or Mean?

Can we get some pics? I just got mine from smoktek and its different than Busardos review. Frankly, it looks like a smoktek zmax with an OLED display. Not really an issue, vapes great. I really have no basis for comparison to other mods as i went from an ego to the sigelei. So far it great!!

I got my Sigelei yesterday and so far I love it. I chose the black aluminum version from delawarevapor. I own multiple vv and vv/vw mods and the sigelei is turning out to be everything I was hoping for. It is very light but doesn't feel cheap. The finish is smooth but not so much it is slippery. The display is very bright and easy to read. I love it because it actually has words to tell you what feature you are on in the menu instead of vague codes. The display is much better than the my v1/v2 zmax and even my provari. The threads on the battery cap could definitely be better. The battery does rattle ever so slightly if you shake the device roughly. The button is great. Vertical placement on the device is just right IMO. It sticks out so you can find it easily and it is "clicky". The 510 connection is nice and solid and atomizers, etc. thread down tightly. It has a large, deep drip well. I wish it had ego threading for my T3's though. Power regulation feels right on and I can tell I've made a change even if I only change it a half a watt. Overall for the price I'm extremely happy with my purchase. Kudos to delawarevapor for answering all my questions prior to the sale and for the fast, free shipping. If you are thinking about buying a vamo, spend the extra money and get a sigelei. Cheers!

I have the Chrome Sigelei ZMax and the Black Aluminum Sigelei ZMax, and love them both!!! I use them with the Smoke Tech locking DCT and the vapor taste is wicked good. The black is much lighter, but knowing the longevity of aluminum threads, I am extremely careful when screwing on my tank. The threads do feel good, but aluminum is a softer metal and I prefer to error on the side of safety. Being that I tend to chain vape a good bit, both of my Sigelei models are my full time vape, and I have had no issues! I have found that one of my DCT tanks does not fit well and will cause a hard draw on the Black one, but my 3 other tanks, 2 Smoke Tech, and one Evolution tank work perfectly!!! I use dual 18350 IMR batteries in both, with my 18650 batteries as spares. Again both models work GREAT and have helped me to drop analogs altogether, IMHO you cannot go wrong with this device, I am even thinking about buying one in the Satin finish, just to complete the set... LOL :)

This pic is with the 18350s in the chrome and the 18650 in the black.

**I only use IMR batteries, and recommend them for these APVs!!! **

Hello
anyone that own the sigelei and the provari v2 that can compare the "vape"? I means: dont compare build quality and so on.. just if you notice any difference in the vape experience between the sigelei and the provari.

Why I ask this? I have a provari v2 and a lavatube as backup. On the provari the vape is more "full" and "creamy". On the lava, at the same power, same carto, same juice, the vape is less creamy.. is like there is more "air" and less vape...

I think this is caused by the "pulsed" output of the lava compared to the stright dc-signal of the provari. Infact also the sound of the carto frying is completely different.

Thanks!
