You might need Dusty's assistance getting it in your sig line...

Thanks POM! Is there anything different I need to do besides saving the image, uploading to photobucket, then linking it back here?
No. It's a bit different. You actually have to click on the image and copy the link into your signature...otherwise the website won't be able to update the quit counter.

No, and I meant to mention it to you earlier. It's just a broken link image, and when mouseovered one gets something like .................com which looks redacted for some reason. I guess you're hosting it at someplace "forbidden."

I don't think so. When you click on it, it goes to a link disallowed by ECF: "http://.....................com/" You'll have to use another source.

Most likely that was a popular quit banner used by many at ECF until it suddenly started displaying ads for Zamplebox, which led ECF to ban both that site and the quit banner site as well (or it's from tiny.url). It was one of the reasons I started looking into making a Provarinati quit banner. I wish the process wasn't so difficult for the end user to "install," and I wish that the signature/quit banner site I use didn't take the servers down for maintenance every three months, but in the end it's worth it to me to be able to create custom quit counters for people. Most of my sigs have been for Provarinati, but there have been a few rare exceptions. I think most people assume I only do Provarinati sigs.

Some I do just for fun, because I like the look of the product.

When I started making sigs, it was originally for fans of Aroma ejuice. There's probably about twenty or so Aroma sigs floating around. This one ended up being the "brand" signature. It was originally an offshoot of a collaborative juice bottle label revamp that hasn't happened yet.

This was the first signature I ever made. I think it's safe to say that I've gotten better since then.

I will probably end up making a VapourArt signature soon, though I doubt I'll replace my "Provarinati" sig. :)

Edit: There have been a few disappointments along the way. olefolks turned in his banner:

and had Doogie make this one for him instead:

While I'm glad he kept as much of my design as he could, I'm still miffed. It's probably my favorite Provarinati banner of all time. :) (and my least favorite Reo banner ;))

No wait- this is my favorite banner:

Boy. Did I ever go off on a tangent. Sorry for the nostalgic, maudlin laced ramble, guys.

How do you get the longer image to work under ecf's sig size constraints? I noticed some of your quit banners are longer than others.
That is due to a loophole in ECF's rules. Every member is allowed a signature banner and a quit banner (all those "long" sigs are actually two banners next to each other). I tend to avoid the double sigs because they cause more work for Dusty, but if someone requests one, I'll do it that way. If you aren't a member of ECF's Folding@Home team or an ECF Supporting Member, don't bother asking for one, as Dusty won't insert it for you. You might have the right to have it, but the mods are under no obligation to go the extra mile to make it happen for you.
So when I try to copy the link for the image, since the iPhone won't let me click the image for some reason, and paste it into my signature, it tells me my signature is too many lines. I guess I'll have to try on a pc?
Nope. I'll need to send a request to Dusty, asking him to change it for you. I'll do it on Saturday. Dusty deserves to have an uninterrupted 4th of July. :)
