.sigs... Static, or dynamic?

Just a quick question, are sigs static? If I change my sig, will it only affect posts from that point forward, or will all previous posts sigs change to the new one?

I'm almost positive it's ALL posts, just like an avatar change does.

Depends if you are adding a new sig when you didn't have one previously, or if you are editing your sig. Latter, all previous posts will be updated, former, from that point on.
