Nichrome has about 2/3ds the life expectancy of Kanthal.

Kanthal most popular sizes are 34ga, 32ga, 30ga

3mm Silica wick would be great, as well as 3.5mm. 3.5mm is really hard to come by.. The silica wick in the Drunkard is REALLY fat, somewhere in the neighborhood of 4mm maybe even as high as 5mm..Would LOVE to have a few yards of the big stuff..

AND if you REALLY want to see stuff fly off the shelve's, get a few hundred yards of RIBBON Kanthal !!!
