Is it necessary to have a lot of wick in a IGO L. I have been folding over a 2 inch silcia wrapping the end and letting the other ends around the coil. But I have seen some build where it looks like the Igo is stuffed full of wick and you can't even see the bottom. Is there a big difference in having this much wick?

It is for wicking up all the juice inside the deck so you do not have to drip as often. It is still like having just the folded over piece as a wick and that's it.The difference is just less dripping time and more vaping time.

However: It does not always wick and get the juice to the coil because of the length.

This, i am beginning to notice. i always wrap a bit of wick around the post and into the "deck" area. But, when i start to get a dry hit, the end of my wick is usually still wet. So not all juice makes it to the coil.

Excuse the junky, gunky coil, but this has been working very well for me. I can drip a ton and the extra juice can pool up in the deck and it always works itself into the wick and to the coil.
