Got myself a Wizard Apprentice + AGA-T and an orion recently and have been rolling a packed #500 mesh. As I like a fuller "oompf", I've been coiling my dual twisted 32g kanthal to between 0.8 to 1ohm but problem here is wicking doesn't seem to keep up.
I had an eureka moment when I was packing my table and found some silica wicks for my Vivi Novas and decided to roll them in my mesh. The idea is silica seems to wick better and more consistent and transfers the juice to the mesh to be vaporized.
Not sure if it's placebo but I'm getting really good results out of it.
