Silica

I've noticed several sizes of silica diameter from 1mm to 5mm for making wicks. I have on order the Russian 91% and plan to make my own. Any comments or experiences will certainly help

I use the 3mm in my novas. It works well for me. I haven't tried the 2mm since I'm happy but have a kayfun lite on order so will be experimenting.

I use from .6 to 3mm silica - just depends on how many strands you thread through the coil

2mm is the easiest to work with for the way I build coils and I just use a double strand through the coil

if braided silica is an option where you order get it as it is easier to work with
