So I ordered an ipv mini V2 from eciggity yesterday. I have been using a kanger Kbox to run my subtank and drippers, and it's a nice little cheap mod but I get the impression that it is somewhat janky and that it might not last too long. I played around with an ipv mini V2 at my local shop and it seems like it will meet my needs OK. I got a good deal on a black one, which I like better than the silver. However, I know from reading and talking to people that the black finish is bad to chip and rub off under normal use. And I'm hard on stuff. So I'm going to go ahead and wrap it.
I really like the feel of a silicone skin, similar to the rDna 40 shark skins. However, I can't really find them anywhere for the ipv mini. Except on Alibaba, where they seem to have appeared just in the last couple of days. They can be ordered straight from a manufacturer, but you have to order a minimum of 20. Anyone ever ordered anything that way? I know plenty of people who order merchandise from China through Alibaba to resell but I've never done it myself. Would I maybe ask around at the vape shops in town and see if anyone wants to go in with me on an order and just order the 20 minimum? Or get a bunch and try to sell them myself?
Or does the fact that they've appeared on Alibaba recently mean that soon most vendors will stock them (as the paint flaking issue on the IPV mini seems well known) and that I should just be patient and wait for that to happen?
