So what's the dealie with this Halo bottle stopper?

IMG_20150407_123235.jpg

I'm taking it out and using a syringe to fill my tank, how's this included spout 'sposed to work?

I'm totally PO'd at the Vape shops around here. They make it Really Tough for us nOOBs.

Only one out of 8 even carry Halo juice which after A LOT of on-line searching was what I wanted. Of course, when they won't
carry it, all they can do then is badmouth it, like I'M the idiot for wanting to try Halo.

Then, after talking to the clerk where I got this bottle for 10 minutes, explaining I was a nOOb, they send me out the door with
this stopper setup.

Also, no testers, no way to taste taste, No Returns. I already have a 30 ml bottle of 18 I am dying through because I really needed 12.

They also are/have discontinued ALL the smaller 7 ml sample size bottles. Screw the customer. buy this BIG bottle or you can buy
nothing. If you don't like it, not our problem.

And BM's ....., moan and complain about people just buying stuff online. .......

I've not used those dropper bottles, all mine had the pipette so I can't help you there sorry. It looks like it should just screw onto the bottle threads...

Halo's website sell the sample packs for 24.99 with 6 X 7ml bottles in them - https://www.halocigs.com/e-liquid/sample-packs.html which I would suggest is a much better option than visiting local stores and hoping they have them.

Oh yes; that used to stump me at first too!!

They work good for a dripper; just turn the bottle upside down to pour;

the liquid comes out the middle hole, and air gets into the bottle through the ring and up the tube.

Hence why the b&M's here don't get my money.

Pretty sad I can spend half the night in emails with a vender in Texas yet a local guy can't be bothered with a simple question

Guess who got the 30 dollar sale

I'll tell you from experience that most of the B&Ms in Texas aren't any good either.

The one notable exception being DFWVapor. They've got a half dozen shops and I've been extremely pleased with the service I've had at every one I've visited. Good prices too. They do a lot of online business so they stay competitive with their pricing.

As for the Halo bottles, buy Halo juice online directly from Halo. ALL B&M shops will have a hefty markup on the price.

In terms of the whole "large bottle sizes thing" (it's not 100% related), has anyone seen this "Muffin Man" e-juice? The only size bottle they offer is 180mL. It's 80$. I don't know about you, but I'll never buy that much of a juice with no idea what it tastes like. It's obviously a marketing tactic to get people to buy large bottles of juice at a time (makes them more money at once), but it's also sort of dishonest and poor etiquette.

Imagine you went to buy a car online, but the seller says, "Nah, you can't test drive it, no return policy, and no accident history report." Would you expect that car to be good?

I am also a fountan pen user/restorer and a member of Fountain Pen Network.

What you describe is very prevalent with the unknowledgable bidding for pens on Fleabay.

I often use the analogy of seeing a diamond ring in a jewelry store window, going inside and being told, "No, you can't look at it,
no, you can't hold it and no, I wont answer any questions for you about it". Then I ask if you would still buy the ring.

People DO all the time with horribly done Fleabay listings.

I call it Braille bidding. :)

Ironically, that's precisely what it's like buying a Ferrari.

If that "tygerlovesdeb" guy was still hangin' around he could tell us exactly what it is like buying a new Ferrari. (I think he owned a series of exotic car dealerships? Idk, dude was crazy loaded. Millionaire loaded.)

Has nothing to do with this, just a thought lol.

The 2 issues there are THEY pick the samples for you instead of you picking them and that doesn't help the Very nOObiest who aren't even sure yet
what strength they need.

I even grabbed my phone and showed the clerk the Goulet Pens website where they, like most all on-line fountain pen ink sellers, have Massive sample
programs. You pick what YOU want to try because they Know that you'll come back to them for the full bottles of ink once you nail down what you want.

It just befuddles the hell out of me how dang Foreign the concept of Customer Service has become.

Actually it's Much Worse than that buying a Ferrari.

You simply don't BUY a NEW Ferrari

You go on the Waiting List to buy one...

Even worse then that.
Now you have to own a used one first before they will sign you up.
Saw it first hand when I built this mansion for a ball player

My boss got one, we were flying down the road and suddenly the car slowed to 35 mph and the touch screen said " return to dealer for service" he said what a piece if junk and sold it lol

I will not buy anything online at all..
I am recently new to vaping but... If I cant see, feel, touch, smell, taste it.. I cant buy it..
I test vapes out at a store I goto.. the guy does a good job keeping the vapes clean and such.. his shop is fine...

But I would never ever ever pay for something if I haven't tried it 1st.. like the 1 guy said about 80 bucks for some juice.. I would never pay for that unless I tried it.. and it better be the best thing since sex for me to get it cause that is alot of money to drop on something you have no clue on how it is going to taste...

I understand that, and I agree to a point. I am a tactile person that prefers to see, touch and try a product before I purchase it - but where I live means I have no choice but to order online for most things.

When I do buy pre-made e-liquid, I order small samples to see if I like them first, then order larger amounts.

As for trying flavors at a vape store, most will have 0 nic as testers and the addition of nicotine will drastically change the flavor. So even that is not foolproof.
Many times I have purchased a flavor I enjoyed in the vape store, only to not like it when I tried it at home with my own equipment at my preferred nic strength.

OP - I was just offering another option for you. Each purchase method has it's own pros and cons. I was simply giving you another choice that you may not have considered.
The strength is pretty much something you will have to find for yourself through trial and error. My solution was to purchase lots of small sampler bottles all at different strengths and ratios to see if I could find one that worked for me.

THIS right here! ^^

And sound advice here......
