The Silver Bullet is a classic, and for good reason. It's a big honkin chunk of aluminum, holds an 18650, and is a reliable as can be. The Provape-1 is smaller, takes 14500's, and also has a good reputation. But if you're going to buy either, decide which battery you want to use. If size is an issue, the Provape is the better choice between the two. If size isn't an issue the SB will give you more runtime. The baby brother to the SB is the BB which uses the same batts as the Provape-1. They cost right about the same and the BB is built every bit as good as the SB so you might want to consider that one too. But given a choice between an SB an a Provape-1 (as the two choices you've given in your question), I'd choose the SB simply because I like the 18650's and their long runtime. This also means that voltage dropoff is not as quick on the 18650's as on the 14500's so you're at a higher voltage for a longer period of time.
